Sold my last copy to Rob Bailey for about 20 quid in the 90s after finding a few in a Paris fleamarket...this was a massive tune on the jazz scene in 89 90...but most played it off the lp.Never keen on it myself but my head was around finding bobby montez at the time.Try Rob you never know........ zNw

Don't like the Voltairs...but it's horses for courses.Not a fan of the vocal harmony midtempo sound......but i do have the other Bacone 45.Limitations -Lonely Troubled which is more my cuppa t.Only heard it played out a few times, once by the Solid Hit Soul boys in London.I believe Tim Ashibende found a box of these.The Barry White ive had for years on Uk President....never played that out either.I think these days I could only get away with 2 or 3 semi/unknowns.

Geeselad.....i like bugaloo latin soul etc but it is novelty hispanic pop music.There is nowhere on this thread where you have to stipulate colour...just non soul tracks.Most of the bugaloo artists were straight ahead afro cuban musicians who had been in the big mambo bands Tito Puente Rodriguez Machito etc and were releasing these novelty 45s on the back of the Motown explosion.Bad Breath Its A Good. good Feeling,El Pito are all novelty dance recotds....now Joe Baatan Ordinary Guy is a different matter altogether.You are talking shite...

I was told my vinyl would be obsolete and worthless after Brothers In Arms came out on Cd ...what year was that? Vinyl has weathered the storm of Cd and Mp3...with the vintage craze massive at the moment i know people that have started collecting 78 s and these are young kids.The Victoriana uk psych has started to be collected by Steampunks!!

The top 500 northern will always sell because like it or not the majority are the best records.This doom mongering usually comes from people who sold up in the eighties.In the eighties i could buy records for five and ten pounds....wait until the Chinese market opens up...

I have about 7 or 8 thousand singles....mixture of northern/reggae (about 800 45's up to 71)/freakbeat/psych,200 punk,boogaloo/funk,about 100 acetates(psych/soul) and about 6,000 lp's....all genres but loads of latin/jazz.I sell to buy and im lucky that i have always bought twice if cheap enough.Play stuff everyday..would love a loft conversion music room.

Ive bought a lot on here and had no problems.Any records i sell i photo on the phone to establish identity....re e bay..sold a few records to a bloke....reggae bits.I got a fake paypal e mail and sent the records off....i then get a message from ebay telling me he was a scammer.Luckily he had a london address so me and a few friends visited....it was a squatted warehouse in shoreditch with piles of post near the door.I remember when a lad on here lost a lot of money on a Mr Soul and google earthing the address....threse fraudsters use addresses where they pick mail up or get someone to forward it.Paypal accounts get cleared into other bank accounts.
