  2. Fryer I love prog...I'm in touch with the original members of The Open Mind and love a bit of Arzachel...and got both original lps...wouldn't play the reissues out mind.Even on the psych scene its the original format.Mace is right its not the younguns who buy these. The European youngsters and the young mods are all into orig vinyl.Jordan and the youngsouls are also into originals.l.These reissue records are for local doos and for local people. The people that Photoshop owls and fists over scooters and wear the clothes they wore when they were 15

  6. I'm after all the great northern records that fell through the cracks...I actively encourage everyone else to keep finding those rnb, ballads, popcorn, reggae,Latin 45s and leave all the sixties uptempo stuff to me...carry on.
  7. Thanks for the comments Ivor.I'm.a Virgo so precise info is always appreciated.A few people have asked if they are going to be for sale.Jon Buck was the cameraman so I will ask his permission.Im not bothered about making any money so maybe a PayPal donation to a charity might do the trick.Does anyone knpw if the club is still open? We know Bicknell is now deejaying again,Brian Rae has never stopped...he is one man who should get. northern soul award. Is Adam Buchanan still deejaying? I wonder if this might spur Jon to do a reunion gig....time to get yer pegs out and growing those wedges and taches.
  8. I've a few more to transfer to DVD and then youtube.I think it's time to get these uploaded for public viewing or they will be lost forever.I cant think many people would have kept old video cassettes and I wonder how much footage like this was just thrown out.Best bits are a request for Hayes Cotton, the queue at the record bar,Brian Rae in a tank top and the amount of wedge haircuts and moustaches. As I have said if you have any old videos just pm me.
  9. Billy I'm sure you are on the RSG video as well on the Leighton Buzzard thread dancing to modern...

  15. Ive an unreleased version by him and a black Swan copy....I'm sure it came out in another name on Swan.In thousands of years archeologists and historians are going to have a nightmare...they will find my video of the Gloucester night 1987 and a copy of Stoke 2013 and be scratching their heads....surely there must be some mistake....we had these trousers as 1977!! go and check the dates and This England again..Stoke.....small room until 2am then main room. The music is far better after 2 and the returnees have left after dancing to Beggin.

  21. Dum Dum a Dum Dum a dum du du du dum...is Wanted And Needed. How did the leather riding glove boys clap with a glove on.Love a bit of clapping but with all of this x over and midtempo there's no breaks. The Kings Hall Stoke should be full of clappers but there's no sign of it.KTF ..mmmmm B.B.T.C ... Can someone do a definative list of clapping songs ? I'll play 5 on a trot at my next spot as a social experiment.Doulle Cookin has to be number one in any clapping list.
