Membership and patches with 8 & 11 missing. I think i missed about 5 niters altogether. If my memory is right, i went after the Manchester derby when United got beat 5-1 at main road, 23rd September 1989. The best thing about that weekend and a saving grace. Were the anniversaries in September like Wigan?

Flooded fields near Dunham Park today after the River Bollin burst it's banks. Never seen the fields flooded as much, usually about 3quarters and not as deep

Had the trail cam out at the badger set for the first time since May as the foiliage is starting to die back. I got some video footage of the badgers and also these few stills. Not as clear as I had hoped but good enough to know Good to see the family of 3 are still knocking about and also a fox. Will be keeping an eye on this over the autumn and winter

Only been out the once since things opened up, Swinton which I enjoyed, and round here I have a choice of umpteen venues most weekends but family things get in the way, not that I'm complaining as that come first for me. I have the Wigan niter in the diary but just been told my son may be here that weekend so I'll have to wait and see. I know I'll be out and about more in the coming months but as I tend to stay more localish these days, it's more a social thing with whats on offer music wise. Still get a buzz going to a niter but not for every weekend.

Managed a great day around the quieter part of snowdonia on Saturday. 1st one is a view of my route down the right handside of the grassy plateau with knee high heather to wade through to Lyn Eigiau on the left with Lyn Cowlyd on the right The 2nd one is looking down the Ogwen Valley from Pen yr Helgi Du

A couple from last week and two species that seem to be on the decline this year. The Gatekeeper butterfly and the Cinnabar Caterpillar. Used to see quite a lot of Gatekeepers and the Caterpillars are usually seen covering the ragwort plant but these 3 were the only ones out .

Great pictures of a great place

Went to Swinton which was enjoyable but certainly not full but a nice relaxed atmosphere and good to be back out. A few gremlins with the speakers downstairs early on that were soon sorted and didn't distract from the night. For me, a great way to get back in to going out Was good to catch up with you Steve and finally put faces to Martin, Ste and Lorraine. Nice one
