  1. Have got a Tiny-Pic and a photobucket account but never really use them now as most of my photo's go on FB. Used to use them for forums and to upload on here but that is now much easier do take them straight "out of the box" so to speak. Too much crap with photo bucket nowadays
  2. Yeh see them regularly as they fly over near to our house. I Believe there's 3 departures/arrivals a day now so getting a bit old hat I've been on a couple as well, awesome machines
  3. Cheers. I used to live near the airport and was always watching planes coming and going from the Bollin Valley. I remember seeing a plane called the GUPPY, a parts carrier I think but not sure if I've ever seen the Beluga. Looks mighty big according to youtube
  4. A Virgin Jumbo Jet and the Emirates A380 taking off today at Manchester Airport. A grey misty day so not very clear but awesome things when they go right over your head in touching distance
  5. Blimey, i held me breath forking out £250 for me Lumix TZ70!! I did get a bit knocked off for a price match though Great bird photo's
  6. Again, some great photo's on here Just had a great 5 days in the ski capitol, Meribel, France. Not skiing, just visiting our lad who is working out there. Blue skies and sunshine for 5 days and fantastic scenery. Up and down a lot of the ski lifts just lazing about taking it all in, awesome stuff :-) First picture looking down on an inversion over the village of Les Allues with Mont Blanc over to the right Second picture on one of the many ski lifts dotted about the area Third picture is from the summit of Tougnete @ 2454 metres
  7. A couple from a walk round Kinder Scout above Edale on Saturday. Some great rock sculptures A killer Whale eyeing up a seal hiding behind a rock :-) Deep snow drifts and a moody sky Couple of rock sculptures having a row :-) Cheers
  8. Good to see another year of photo's. Not posted for a bit but keep looking and there's some great shots from around the world. Just missed last years end so out of the two today I have included a shot taken from the Summit of Moel Siabod on December 28th 2016 looking across to Snowdon and the Glyderau mountains, Snowdonia. The second picture is looking across to Moel Siabod from Snowdon on New Years Day 2017. Two great days in the mountains over the festive break. Happy soulful new year to all :-)
  9. Having not been on here for a bit, can I ask what's up with Louis. Used to have a bit of banter with him back in the day, on the old KTF site, usually football related, and at places like Lowton & Cleethorpes. Hope he's ok.
  10. Used to get played at the Oakfield Club in sale. I should think it would of been off an LP I imagine. Got it on a tape off one the djs at the time. Great tune https://m.mixcloud.com/andy-prolze/sounds-of-the-oakfield-28-8-1999/
  11. Love the Greek islands
  12. A few more from down under. Some nice birds out there :-) Jabiru, Kingfisher, Bee Eater, Cassowary & Chick
  13. Been away here and there over the last month or so, so not put any photo's up here recently. Went to OZ for a few weeks in May and had a great time exploring thew wet tropics, Cairns and surrounding areas From Mission Beach to Cape Tribulation and out to Undara, well recommended but as with all OZ, just not enough time to see just a pin prick on the map. Anyway, a few of the locals.......... First one is a Platypus. Not a great photo but I did get some goodish video footish. Not quite sure what the spider is but was small and liked me brekkie!! A moth that looks like a skipper from the uk A Praying Mantis that was hanging about the shower block!! Went on a croc cruise and saw four, one small one and three big un's, between 4-5 metres!!! Camera was on a bit of zoom for these :-)
  14. Well that was exciting. Two bids in the last two seconds, $5324.55
  15. Sounded alright at stoke at 5.30am a few years ago
  16. Just got back from a few days being a tourist in Reykjavik, Iceland and did a snowmobiling trip. Brilliant even though it was a long day and took 5 hours to get to the hut on the glacier via two monster vehicles The coach had 48" wheels and that's the wife stood next to it to give an impression of how big they are or how small she is The sun going down just as the last of the riders are coming back on the last photo
  17. I have an Envivo cassette converter, paid a pricey £9.99 from Aldi a couple of years back to transfer all my tapes to MP3 and load them on mixcloud and it's done the job i wanted it to do. Can't fault it at that price and I've had no mishaps with the tapes messing up. Just found this
  18. A couple from another day in Snowdonia, this time on Moel Siabod in the snow. The first is of old quarry houses and the second is coming off the summit as the sun tries to show its face.
  19. I know of a wild bees nest that has been in a particular tree for years and gets very busy in the warmer weather. I'll try and get a decent photo of it next time I'm passing it but it is about 20/30ft up. This is one from a couple of years back and you can just make out the bees
  20. Thanks for the comments. These two are in a house my brother is doing up, above the bedroom window. The plaster was loose but luckily all the little blighters have had it Tried getting the down as a whole nest but so fragile they crumble as soon as they are touched. Amazing things. Glad you liked the Snowdonia pics. Hoping I may be there again this coming weekend with all the snow about
  21. Might as well attach a photo
  22. Good job it wasn't the height of summer the other day otherwise it may of been interesting
  23. Cheers Steve. My camera is a Sony compact dsc hx50. I don't have a big posh thing :-) It's ok but not as good as the predecessor but that got water in it on the Carneddau!!!!! Second time I've been there when it's been empty. Andy
