Just had a week in Corfu. warm and sunny. A couple of sunsets, beach and the evening sun on Cape Drástis
-
Congratulations @martyn pitt & @Johnny Jones for these wonderful photos. Well done, both! Great photo's, well done
-
A couple from a camping trip to Barmouth at the weekend. Cregennan Lake and looking down on Barmouth and the Mawddach Estuary from near the Arthog Waterfalls, both on the Saturday. Got washed out on Sunday
-
Blimey, wouldn't fancy lugging that up a mountain, but some do. No wonder your bird pics are ace, like others on here
-
A couple more from Austria The local swans checking it's all clear to come ashore for a good pruning
-
Wow, some excellent photo's again these past few weeks. Had a great week in the small village of Alpbach in the Austrian Alps back in July. A really beautiful place with some great scenery. A few from there First one is the Church and swimming lake at Reith, the second one is the view looking down on the towns of Munster, Kramsach, Brixlegg and the third is going into the abyss on the gondola

Had another weekend in Snowdonia. First is the view of the curved summit of Pen yr Ole Wen in the foreground, and of the high peaks of the Glyderau and beyond. A distant Snowdon behind Pen yr Ole Wen and Anglesey to the far right. The second one is the old roman bridge under the A5 at Ogwen Cottage.

Nice Looks like its going to be another one like this tonight.

A couple of sunset photos from last night. Also one of the moon over MUFC Training complex. If it's not cloud there's an awful lot of smoke over the hills and you could smell it. These are from the Carrington/Sale area towards Winter Hill about 20 miles away
-
I believe Winter Hill is on fire now. Was out on the bike last night and was looking over that way thinking it looked a bit cloudy/smokey. Winter Hill is on the right above the flat hedge

Was looking at the moon last night but not as red as that. The fires are bad, both for people and animals and I fear it could go on for some time with no rain in the forecast. You can get a wiff of the smoke down here in Sale now and again and also see the smog hanging over the moors. Light ash fall in Manchester city center as well

Thanks Pete I didn't see any boats landing their catch, we weren't there that long really. A flying visit to see my lad who is working down there. Trying to get around as much as possible these days before it's too late :-). Still getting out to local soul nites as and when tho

Been to Looe in Cornwall this weekend. Looe Harbour at low tide on Saturday and high tide on Sunday when it was also a bit damp
-
Great shot. Our next door neighbour had a family of foxes under his shed early on this year and we used to watch them play in the garden. Great stuff. We used to leave scaps of food out. As you can hear we got a tad excited https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPT81cpybxc

Went up Snowdon last Saturday for the sunset. Wasn't the most spectacular but a great experience all the same and very empty
-
Wow, again. Many thanks. That's the second thing I've won this year, the first being another most liked photo on here Some great photo's of everything, posted on this thread so I'm humbled. Cheers

How you can spot that from that distance among the rocks is amazing in itself. Patience is the virtue I suppose. Nice one
-
There is three of them and you can get on them with care, well they took my weight :-). Looks a different picture when the tide comes in and nearly swallows them up!

Another couple from Mull. The first is my fav photo of the week, old fishing boats of Salen, the second is the view of Loch a'Chumhainn on the way back from a walk looking towards Dervaig where we stayed.
-
Just had a week on Mull and managed to get a couple of zoomed in shots of a Otter eating a rather large fish, a Sea Eagle flying high overhead and the keeper of the castle
-
Nice one. thanks very much. Been on the Isle of Mull for a week and just catching up
-
Amazing to think you actually saw it to get the photo! Brilliant
