Wishing all Harbour Soulers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year…Don’t forget the first event of 2025 is on Sunday 12 January staring at 1pm…our guests this time are: John Pearson from Boston…John has supported the event since it started…he loves a decent ale and will definitely having you check out the decks …underplayed soul is Johns passion… Andy Gibbs from Peterborough…Andy has graced the decks at Harbour Soul before and will have us packing that tiny dance floor later on I’m sure… Finally just to say that both myself and Paul are looking forward to welcoming you back… Take care and have a fantastic time x

No Harbour Soul in December…so, into 2025 we goand our first event of the year…starting earlier and winding it up 1/2 later…Hear rare / underplayed early on, then a dance floor friendly finale …Residents Steve, Rupe, Paul & Ric with guests to be announced…this is an original vinyl event…covering across the board soul (deep, sweet, crossover, modern, 70s, motown, northern, beat ballads, with some gospel, latin & funk…phew!!) Looking forward to seeing our regulars and welcoming new faces…a cracking afternoon in a fabulous little pub…

You are very welcome to join us for an afternoon of quality soul music of the 60s, 70s & 80s from across the board…Resident DJs, Steve, Rupe, Paul & Ric are joined by, veteran of the Northern / Rare Soul scene, Mr Paul Donnelly…Paul not only has great taste in soul music, he ran one if the most successful All-nighters in the area during the mid 70s…The Warrina…really looking forward to welcoming him on board… As usual the event starts with quality down tempo, crossover, low rider tunes, but builds as the afternoon progresses…usual ending with happy dancers ….

I am really pleased to announce our guest DJ for Sunday 17 Sep 23 is all round top bloke, Spaldings Jez Wensor…Jez has been on the scene for a chuffin’ long time and has amassed quite a few records…known for his love of uptempo Northern Soul, he’s promoted, deejayed, collected etc etc etc…I can’t wait! It’s no coincidence that Jez guests on the weekend of the 50th Anniversary of Wigan Casino opening it’s doors… BUT (no baggies, beer towels, vests, or talc, please!! ) might be some pies tho note…music policy remains across the board soul
