Also, lets not forget the journeymen DJ's who keep local nights alive & who do also get spots at the more well known venues occasionally too, i appreciate this thread is about the top jocks, but worth mentioning all these guys n gals, who in a lot of cases have collections as good as, if not better collections sometimes than the top guy's. They also probably have a harder time breaking new tunes & occasionally dont get the kudos for breaking em, as after they do the hard work, it'll go 'big' for a name at a top venue. Ida Sands - Rescue Me.........Not the second release, THAT MOST ARE FAMILIAR WITH, but the better & harder Shiptown mix, hard as nails, needs reactivation IMO. Fantastic Four - Pinpoint It Down..........Set to take the roof off a dancefloor near you........ Micki Lynn - Sure is Something.......West Coast pounder, slipped under the radar.so far !. Pure Northern Soul magic..............never fails to raise the hairs on the back of the neck, the opening bars come in & whooooooooooooooosssssshhhhhhhhhh one of those records that vibrates thru your soul with ya heart pumpin' to the beat, pray to god that it never gets booted or turns up, the few times we are treated to this a year are magical. And after all these years still makes me think WOW, this is what its all about !!!!!. Brenda Holloway as a stand alone record is ok, but by comparison to EM fades into insignificance IMO. Russ

Would be quite interested to know what that made to be honest, i did see it, but not certain what it finished at. Last that went thru ebay was a couple of years ago now too.
