Hello mate Hard one to price, i bought this a while back for a ton, book say's a ton, i think that price is a little excessive now to be honest, one did go on SS some time ago for 50 UKP, which is a bargain, so i tried to find the middle ground..........if i've inadvertently mis priced this, im more than happy to amend or except a reasonable off..............huge tune tho' . As above, but you have to be careful cos there are two different versions of Sadie, Sadie & you cant tell from the LP cover information whether your getting the better version or not, for the better version expect to pay around 150 - 200 UKP. Russ

The sound clip had been available via the Anglo American website for a month for most of the known universe to listen to & download, but at the time i couldnt download the clip, unfortunately my gaff on SS was not to ask for it to be PM'd or emailed to my personal account!, so now thats cleared up, please could you explain the rest of your post as ya 'England' aint too good buddy, i'm assuming, you're suggesting that i wanted the clip to make up a CD, cos i dont get out much, if thats the case, then you couldnt be more wrong, altho cant see the problem with that really.........very amusing Tommy Yates.........do you really think TT used this name to record under, cos he was under contract else where ????, gosh.......with regards cover ups, i think your stating the obvious & preaching to the converted. Well there you go.................i wont bother following up on the hard work that has been done on this now, ya can fight amongst your selfs for it, an open secret for awhile i know, but all the lazy bastards with the big cheque books are now fully in the picture..........& the collectors & DJ's who have to genuinely graft to even have a sniff of records like this can kiss it goodbye................& BTW dont even bother with the studio owner or leader of the backing band as theyve probably been spammed to death by now & no they dont have copies & all the label stock is gone........there you go, you can just go & throw money at em now, if they ever do turn up. Probably shouldnt react, after all there isnt much you can do, but its a shame when you spend half your life looking for the tunes only to have em bootlegged. Thing is it can only be good for the scene when people have to travel to certain venues & to hear certain DJ's play these tunes when they're not readily available.............or maybe i'm being a romantic old fool........!!!! Got my copy of NLTD from Havey himself, about 18 months ago, there were three copies, i had the last one....i have asked if any more turn up, if he could contact me, but nothing yet................hard record & bloody good too IMHO..............drives like a steam train. Russ

Both sides were played to critical acclaim at both Abshott & the Newbury Nighters...............luckily its a favourite of mine so hung on to it..............good luck with this, as i think it might turn out to be harder than some seem to think. Russ

Lay Jay Alexander is without a doubt the far superior tune. I speak as someone who had the opportunity to get copies of the RS, but there is something not quite right about it, cant put my finger on it, its almost there but not quite, LJA however, has the lot & more for me...........cracking tuneage.
