  1. Never had a problem with tracked and insured
  2. I would only send to Spain via Tracked and Insured. Had too many problems with items going "missing" with standard postage
  3. Just the backing track
  4. Won't affect the vast majority, inheritance tax only applies to the extremely wealthy, about 3.8% of the UK population, so sell away!
  5. Maybe it's a marketing ploy to drive traffic to the website
  6. If the figures being bandied about are ridiculous, why is he asking £150k for it? I get he can ask what he likes for it, but £150k? Now that is ridiculous.
  7. A write up from the liner notes re. The Locomotion
  8. There were a couple of compilations released last year; 17 FROM MORDEN – A Path Through The Forest Of OAK Records 1964 – 1967 From Morden to Wimbledon A Trip Through the Forest Of OAK Records 1967 – 1970 I'll dig them out and see if I can post the liner notes. Sold a copy of the A-Jaes last year but no nothing about the band

  11. No you don't, just need to have an account
  12. I'd be more concerned about that Billy Arnell Tough Girl 45 selling for 2k, a truly awful record. Might be one for your rarity/obscurity thread. Sounds like a vanity club record to my ears tbh #vicreeves
  13. The best thing about it was the two adverts before it played
  14. So this is legit? Must be rare. Anyone know how many copies a huge company like MGM would've repressed? Why has this been off the radar for so long?
  15. Yes it's the Invitations we are referring to The black MGM label design used on the issue of 'Watch Out Little Girl' was used from 1959 - 1968. The label variant the OP has was used from 1968 - 1982 so it must be a later press using the same stampers. Never seen one before either but it must be legit!
  16. There used to be some fantastic photos from that period on the Paynes website, now sadly gone.
  17. Have you seen this variant before Chalky? There is no trace of it on popsike, discogs, 45cat, ebay or a general Google search.
  18. The promo matrixes are scratched in too. Here are some pictures of them, are yours the same?
  19. Cheers for those. Those matrixes are the same as my promo copy. Are they scratched in or stamped in the runout?
  20. There are many other legit MGM 45's that have the same 'poor' printing so this 45 is not unique in that respect. Suspicious and intriguing in equal measures. Can you provide a scan with it out of the sleeve and give us the matrix numbers?
  21. I think it was the journalists take, not the academics but b*llocks nonetheless!
  22. Illusions Crying Days Are Over
  23. I thought you weren't ranting, make your mind up! I think the lady doth protest too much!
