  2. A great line up of DJs this afternoon. Besides Eddie & myself starting & closing, in between we have four great guests, David Fairclough from Wales, Frank Doran from Runcorn, Brian Smart from Manchester & Paul Fradley from Stoke on Trent. Sure to be a great afternoon.
  3. Always have a great night at this friendly club & tunes ain't too bad either.
  4. Always have a great night at this club. Will do my best to get here this month.
  5. Always a great night at The Northern Line. It will be great to see Chris again. See you all later.
  6. When Roger & I started our Sunday Soul Sessions, the concept was to give DJs/collectors who don't have a residency an opportunity to share there tracks in a friendly environment all on vinyl. Since then the afternoons have gone from strength to strength with some excellent sets being put together. If you have a collection & want to share your tracks come down & introduce yourself & see if you would like to get involved. Remember everyone is welcome.

  8. Looking forward to shareing some tracks with my friends from Runcorn & Widnes. Hope to see you all on Friday & we can celebrate Harry's Birthday.
What a great night at The Rec. A big thanks to all the DJs on the night who gave there time for free & brought donations. The Rec for donating the room, every one who donated to the raffle and every single one of you that turned up on the night. Over £1600 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support at the Roger Conneely Memorial Charity Soul Night, sponsored by Cheshire Soul Club. With out you all it would never of happened & everyone went home happy.
  9. Have a safe journey. See you both later.
  10. Not been to this great club for ages. So looking forward to it.
  11. The DJ running order for Saturday.
  12. Cheshire Soul Clubs Charity Night have been a regular annual event since 2007 that's at least 16 years of raising much needed funds. It couldn't be done without the help of all the people that turned up. Last year we raised £920 let's see if we can match it this year. See you all on Saturday & thank you to the people who have already made a donation.
  13. Hi Nige, got a phone call & email this morning from ITVs reporter Paul Crone. He wants film footage of dancers & the scene today for a feature on the longevity of Northernsoul as working class entertainment. No interviews just dancers. He said if anyone doesn't want to be filmed just say & he will have it removed. With all the venues on this month I think we are lucky he has chosen ours.
  14. With different DJs every month, no one can say same old same old. The guest DJs never cease to amaze, mixing the familiar along with the under played. The best sounds, being played on the best sound system around. All drinks at members prices (a big thanks to Bev the steward for arranging that for us). Remember everyone welcome.
  15. Is there only one DJ on all night? Do you have any guests?
  16. Great club, been a few times & never been dissapointed. Look forward to seeing everyone this month.
  17. Today's line up.
  18. This month we welcome our friend Moz as our main guest DJ. Bringing some of the Northern Line magic to the Rec. Moz has guested for Cheshire Soul Club, must be at least 15 years now. At The Rec, The Morg & The Moulton Verdin & always plays a great set. Our early guest & regular Rec visitor John Metcalf will be travelling down from Manchester to entertain us with his mix of tunes. With residents Chris, Eddie & myself filling in the gaps, it's sure to be another great night. Remember everyone is welcome.
  19. If it's anything like the anniversary night last month. It will be fantastic.
  20. Tonight we remember Soul at The Rec founder Roger Conneely as well as raising money for his chosen charity Macmillan Cancer Support. I hope you can join us as we remember Roger a true gentleman of soul.
  21. This month we welcome our friends from Runcorn, Graham Schofield, Mark Nield & Ste Bazley, not forgetting our friend from Northwich Colin Austin. This is our first Anniversary at our Sunday Soul Sessions. Celebrations this time will be more subdued as we have lost our co host, partner & friend Roger Conneely. We carry on as this was Rogers wish, playing the tunes he loved. Remember everyone welcome.
  22. Thankyou for the invite to share my tunes with everyone on your 14th Anniversary, at one of the friendliest Soul Clubs around. Great dancefloor, great sound system & great tunes, playing across the board at this intimate venue.
