    Thankyou everyone who attended, was involved & those that sent donations but couldn't get here on the day. Without you at Cheshire Soul Club it would never of got off the ground. Over a thousand pounds raised for Macmillan Cancer Support & Research, well done everyone.

    This month we welcome as our guests, Graham Schofield & Mark Nield, both regular visitors to The Rec & both have played entertaining sets for us before so we can look forward to another great night. This months residents are Bob Anderson, Eddie Worthington & myself.

    Last month was brilliant, a big thanks to everyone who turned up to make what was a truely a great afternoon. This Sunday we have the opportunity to do it all again. We have three great guests for you, who have all played The Rec & our Sunday Soul Sessions before. From Manchester our friend John Metcalf. From Fleetwood our friend Steve Mcdonough. Completing the trio of guests last but not least, our friend from Stoke on Trent Andrew Smith. With Eddie & myself filling in it's got the makings of a great afternoon. Remember everyone is welcome

    When Roger & I started our Sunday Soul Sessions, the concept was to give DJs/collectors who don't have a residency an opportunity to share there tracks in a friendly environment all on vinyl. Since then the afternoons have gone from strength to strength with some excellent sets being put together. If you have a collection & want to share your tracks come down & introduce yourself & see if you would like to get involved. Remember everyone is welcome.

    Another memorable night expected at The Rec. Playing the tunes you love this month our guest is no stranger Rob Yates from Newton's Got Soul Manchester. Joining us tonight is an old friendly face with a new name resident Mick Quinn along with regular residents Chris Ellis, Eddie Worthington & myself Johnny Valentine. Sure to be another great night.

    The venue to be at this Saturday. Last month was brilliant, great crowd & great tunes. Our main guest this month Is Stevie Hay, no stranger to The Rec & one of the busiest Soul DJs around, with giggs around Manchester & up the North Wales coast. Brian Smart making his Rec debut is our early guest, let's give both guests a warm welcome as always. Filling in tonight will be Rec residents Chris, Eddie & myself. Let's make it another night to remember, it just wouldn't be the same without you.

    This month we again have some great guests to entertain you. Father & son David & Stewart Fairclough from Colwyn Bay. Both have played for us before & done great sets, today we welcome them back.     Seems like it was only yesterday, our 11th Anniversary. A brilliant night, hope everyone enjoyed there Anniversary CD. This month we do it again. Our main guest this month Rec regular Gregg Osbourne. Gregg has a great collection & is sure to play his best tracks. Early doors guest is Richard Ford, Richard has played a few times for us at our Sunday Sessions & has always gone down well tonight is his debut at The Rec, so please give him a warm welcome. Residents filling in the gaps tonight are Bob Anderson, Eddie Worthington and Johnny Valentine. We look forward to meeting you on the night, remember everyone is welcome.
