Tony, i think Millbrand has the publishing rights to the Mike Terry and Jo Armstead songs on this album. Not sure about the master, i'll ask Paul about it. Nice to see Wilxy found a copy. It's a great album.

I read a good article about this song and i've just had a search around to find it again. Interesting story of how it was concieved plus Ava was owned by a well known celeb. Got plenty of plays in the mid 80's. https://www.spectropop.com/HOTB/HOTBpart1.htm

I've found out where i heard it. It's on a friends blog, Alex from Spain. There's some great music on his site. Alex is on here if you need any info about it. https://www.flickr.com/photos/alexs4r/3438422450/

Try this, got an mp3 of it but can't post on here. From a workout album, think it's been discussed on here before. Not mostly intrumental but fits in with what you're saying.

Shotgun Records Sam Dees And Eddie Floyds New 45S Out Monday
Alan T commented on an article in News Archives
Love it, both sides are brilliant. Got to hear both sides on one of the test pressings and they sound incredible. Hope you do well with this and the Sam Dees release, two soul music legends. -
I thought mine was a demo but doesn't say it anywhere on the label. Just different pressing plants i would of thought and don't think there would be a difference in price. Another label variation

I think the LuLu release is about 4 years earlier according to the label. Sold my Green Fire one for about £80. Seen loads of them but not many LuLu ones. The slower side is a better track.

Brilliant news, Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I've got a recording of the other 45 on MP3 somewhere, if no one posts it up on here i'll try and find it tonight as it's not on this computer. I'm not set up to do recordings at the moment but if Jimmy needs it i could ask a friend to record the album.
-
Jimmy did have another 45 on Jim Gem but i think it's another 70s recording. He also did an album on the same label as 'Jimmy Jules and the Nuclear Soul System' the b-side of that album is made up of tracks by a girl called Jackie Spencer.
