Johnnie Taylor Ain't That Loving You (For More Reasons Than One)
Alan T replied to a topic in Record Wants
Rob, i have a unplayed USA blue issue but it has a BB hole. £20 plus postage. Benji, i can sort you one too. USA white demo is hard to find plus most of the issues you see are poor condition. I searched ebay UK for years to get a Mint UK release, finally got one and it looked stone mint both sides but it jumped. No matter how hard i looked i couldn't see why it was doing it so i had to send it back. Here's a couple of big scans of the UK issue if anybody wants to download them -
Well done Paul, i really enjoyed reading that. Looking forward to seeing her live on stage in November.

Alan T replied to Dave Rimmer's topic in All About the SOUL
Benji, i've just looked through the pack of photos i have from when you came over here for the weekender, the only pictures i have of an artist performing is this Is it Tommy Hunt ? I can't guarantee this fits with that year but it's from the same batch of photos i sent you. The year was 1995. -

That song is "Maybe, Maybe, Baby" which is the flip side to "I've Got News" on a Capitol 45. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I like this one from the "World Of Soul" album Magnificent Men - It's Got To Be Love - Capitol Album

I think i'd buy this again if it had an instrumental on the b-side. Love the production with great piano and horns throughout, Susan Rewis - They Say You Found A New Baby - Columbia

I seen this for the first time a few days ago. Have always liked the song but never seen the Soul Train video before. Lawrence Payton (Four Tops) - One Woman Man -
I sold one last year at Soul Essence, i think it was Flanny who bought it. He's been selling quite a lot lately and said there's more to follow. Try him with a PM on here.

Great show, thanks for the link. The George Scott track you played was also done as - Snapper "I was just passing through" on Nation-Wide. From the great writing team of Lewis-Farmer-Lewis.

This is a couple of numbers before the Willie Mitchell. It's down as a 1967 release and the site linked below says it's 1967 too. I don't think this got a USA Hi release either. Info on this site too https://www.45cat.com/label/london-za
