  1. I have the mispress. I've known of it for 20+ years and only seen about 5 copies. Two went cheap through Discogs which probably kept the price down. It's rarer than his Ramsel releases. It got a few plays on the scene when it came out on "The Northern Soul Of Vee Jay" CD. A catchy soulful track with a great sax break.
  2. If the pressing plant that was dropped still retains the hardware, Father / Mother plates and stampers then they could press what they want when they want. Just 100 records would yield 10K-20K at todays prices. Edit: Same thoughts at the same time as above post by Chalky
  3. Dave Pinches had one for sale yesterday
  4. From sales history of "The Classic Example" 42nd Anniversary record on Discogs, the one Ady mentions on his thread. 14/10/22 - Comments: From the Anniversary Night With The Special Mark on The 'B' Side Run Out Which Denotes It Came From That Night.
  5. How would he know what's been bootlegged ?
  6. If they came from the same factory using the same labels and plates they'd look exactly as legit ones.
  7. I think i read on here that a few titles were over pressed at the factory and started to sell on Ebay and Discogs, not sure which releases they were. Ady was aware of it and reported it. Edit : Found the thread, here it is.
  8. Roy Hamilton - Reach Out For Me - RCA Philippines VG+ £395 Philippines only on 45, great copy that sounds bright and clear.
  9. Alexander Patton - A Lil Lovin' Sometimes / No More Dreams - Capitol UK VG+£275 Coloured in label tear on A-side, has some light marks but both sides play great. A classic with a brilliant uptempo B-side too. Pics are record for sale, Youtube for reference.
  10. Harold Hutton - Lucky Boy / It's A Good Thing - Checker Promo Ex+ £55 Bobby Huttons debut record from 1965, two great sides
  11. The original has the piano intro, it has "Superdisc" in the runout. Text is sharper than the reissue. There's also a green reissue with no piano too.
  12. I'd say the first pic is a Bell Stamped original. Second one with the large runout is a boot.
  13. 60's And 70's Originals, All In Nice Clean Condition Sebastian Williams - Get Your Point Over - Ovide - Ex £120 Pattie Ward - Girls, You Have To Wait For Love - Road - Ex £120 Rosalind Maddison - Neighborhood Girl - Liberty Test Press - M- £90 Majik - Back Into Your Heart - Hi - M- £65 Cissy Houston - I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself - Pye Uk - Ex+ £65
  14. Sold-Little Richard - I Don't Want To Discuss It / Hurry Sundown - Columbia UK Demo Ex+ £140-Sold Storming Northern classic with a stunning deep soul flip (my favourite side, check video below)
  15. Jumping At The Go Go was my first soul compilation, then a load of early Kent Albums "Floorshakers" and "Footstompers" being the most memorable. Got "All Nite Long - WVON ✩ F.M. Chicago" at Stafford and could only dream of owning the originals as a teenager.
  16. On opening line only as more modern and not Carolinas - Little Madeline - Emotion (same as Webster Lewis)
  17. Reissued here , legal ? https://www.discogs.com/release/6572348-Little-Bobby-Parker-The-Enjoyables-I-Wont-Believe-It-Til-I-See-It-Shame Also done by Jimmy Armstrong on Jet Set, all the credits of a Shrine release just put out on a different label. https://www.discogs.com/release/4979937-Jimmy-Armstrong-I-Wont-Believe-It-Till-I-See-It
  18. Anyone got a picture of Little Richie ? I've looked loads of times but never seen one. Even better would be seeing him on "The Porter Wagoner Show" in Jan 1968. Youtube has a lot of episodes and clips but not that one.
  19. I love this too, i've played it at Yarmouth weekender. There's also an x rated intro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcL6cr5DO_M My favourite by them is their last recording on Carnival, a hard one to find. Manhattans - Til You Come Back To Me - Carnival
  20. She wrote some great songs, the best tracks she recorded she was also the songwriter. This one is a personal favourite with Curtis on the production. Barbara Mason - You Can Be With The One You Don't Love - Buddah
  21. https://www.discogs.com/user/Vivtundrgrnd No such seller when i look, probably been kicked off already.
