  1. £15 max as quoted. Seen plenty in boxes for a tenner. Goes to prove there are great records out there that don't cost a small fortune.
  2. Looks like your bid suffered the same fate as mine then Chubbychops....
  3. Deffo same scan - if you enlarge Chalkys scan and look at the larger scan on the ebay description you'll notice the following similarities. The BB hole at far left (9 o'clock) on label and MR? stamp in deadwax at 4 o'clock. Chances of those being in the exact same positions on 2 different pieces of vinyl are absolutely zilch. Ask for scans of flipside labels if unsure, and check if BB hole is at edge of label on flipside scan.
  4. Hi Billy - know of one that may be up for sale P.M. a decent offer if interested and I'll get back to you. Regards, Mace.
  5. What's the flip called / like, as I had this on a tape a few years back, and I'm sure it had both sides on?
  6. Whats this fetch nowadays Mark - last one i saw was about £150 if my memory serve me well. Great tune. 6 that I'd had in the last few weeks.... Erma Franklin - Abracadabra Herb Ward - Strange Change Chandlers - Your love makes me lonely Newports - Dixie Women 7th Ave Aviators - You should've held on / Boy next door (great oldie, but bought for flip as much as topside) ..and due to pick up a Martells 'Where can my baby be' any day this week.
  7. Now I know this topic was covered recently on another thread, so I'm not going to carry it on....
  8. Mind you - did recently win a Chandlers at a bargain price..
  9. FFS...... anyway, don't buy as much nowadays....most gets snapped up by that greedy DAZZL...wonder who the f*ck he is....
  10. Stick with it mate. Play as you advertise and the punter cannot really complain. Other than that, start a seperate night to cater for the commercial side of things. One thing though, no matter how good the venue, the DJs, the sound system, the advertising, the dancefloor, the toilets, the beer prices etc........someone will always moan.
  11. https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...4740736434&rd=1 Is he related to Loo Rolls.........(Lou Rawls in case you missed the pun)
  12. ...oh sorry Pete - did you mean POPULAR music? Don't U just H8 PPL who shorten words eh M8???
  13. Okay smart arse. Who invented Dandelion & Burdock, and whats the recipe?
  14. Around the £200 / £250 mark I'd say....
  15. Did that cost extra
  16. Bob just phoned me, asked him for you but he's not got one. Will ask Damian next time I speak to him.
  17. Had a few of these last year Jodie - have you tried Bob Morris or Damien ? While mentioning the love of God, pretty sure this song is about Gods eyes seeing everything that goes on.....not sure if that puts you off the tune now...
  18. Nice to agree for once...
  19. There will always be an exception to the rule Chalky, maybe I should have stated 'on the whole' Alldayers are a poor substitute for nighters.
  20. Gotta agree with Andy on this point (and I don't do gear) Alldayers have always seemed to be a poor substitute in my view.
  21. ...just don't offer Dave a lift home Pete, unless you're sure there is no laybys on the way....
  22. It was Rob himself, who actually told me this morning that the guy tried to kick him while he was down so he grabbed at his legs, and he was left with a black eye etc......
  23. The one I'm thinking of is an album track, first name begins with a B....does that match up?
  24. Just spoke to Rob, he's away for a few days so won't be able to reply on thread yet. He's okay, except for a few bruises and a black eye. Apparently this guy punched him in the eye as he was leaving the venue at 7.55 a.m. on the Sunday morning, then rained a few blows on him, and gave him a bit of a kicking when he was down, before being hauled off by the bouncers and then dissappearing. There was only a few people left in the venue by this time in the morning, so no-one recognised him. I remember having a good hiding in Great Yarmouth Mod Rally many years ago by a bunch of locals...guess who I was walking along with at the time.....yep..Rob Messer......he ain't a lucky charm at the best of times At one point I lifted my head up during a good kicking off a group of local morons, to see 4 lads holding Rob mid air by each arm and leg, trying to swing him head first into a wall.....funny thinking about it now, but not so at the time... As for the Jesse Davis cover up - was this the one Des Parker was spinning a few months back....if so, I know what it is....
  25. I'll be loving you - 'Soul Brothers Six' was ours... Always amazes me how 'Band of gold' gets played at weddings...
