  1. at least $315 as of this moment on ebay mate.... https://cgi.ebay.com/Banny-Price-You-love-m...1QQcmdZViewItem
  2. 'Reach out for me' must be up there (for most covered 'Northern' track) Nige Shaw used to collect different versions of certain tunes, and if I remember correctly I'm sure he had something like 14 versions of either 'Reach out for me' or 'I can't wait until I see my baby's face' I might be way off the mark...though I'm sure Nige Brown will know better.
  3. Someone was after this a few months ago...think it was maybe Andy Powell? Think he is 'Mench' on here Baz. Drop him an email/pm. My commission rate for sale of such is 5 pints...... Otherwise 2 pints for effort...
  4. Only just seen this...... ...cheeky fcuker...I know i'm a great dancer, everybody stops and stares in a jaw drop fashion when I get on the floor Mind you, you've wouldn't have noticed whilst DJing...your playlists usually send me to sleep...
  5. Then theres the more realistic 'actual' value of about £40. Has anybody ever bought or sold a Ware copy for £75?
  6. Is it 'Forever more' Des?....cus Keith Williams has this listed today for £45.... Seeing Beggsy for a few beers tonight so will pass on your ££££sss
  7. Also check your earth connections.......
  8. Great tune Ezzie - goes for about £40 - £50. Sure Linda posted it up a while ago. Roger Banks was looking for a clean copy so if you don't like it give him a bell...
  9. Do all copies of this have a small section spliced off edge of label. Mine is exactly the same as the one in this pic, so presume it was an error when the labels were manufactured?
  10. You can hear a short sample on CD Universe site....link below, scroll down, first track on the album, click the 'notes' next to title. https://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?...33291&BAB=E
  11. Blimey, not heard this for years...used to get the odd spin on the mod scene many moons ago.
  12. Can't help with any usefull advice mate, only to say something that you obviously already know now. Unless its going to someone you know and trust....NEVER post anything out before the buyers cheque clears. Any decent and honest buyer should understand and respect the reasons for doing this.
  13. Can't remember last time I played my copy out.....don't know why cus its a great tune. First time I heard it was when Carl Willingham played it on Richard Searlings show many years ago......well worth £100 and quite a hard record to find...
  14. The Barbara English version is fantastic, but Jimmy Radcliffes is better imo.
  15. You'd know him if you saw him, fuzzy felts shirts and hangs around the bar a lot
  16. Pete, the Tommy T and Targets was a big spin for Dave Rimmer. It has the same backing as Bruce Cloud 'My book' on Era. Regards Mace
  17. Doubt it would......thats why its best to buy this sort of stuff on ebay. C'mon Mik....you know that surely... Think the Jack Hammer he mentions is 'Cool Swimming pool' Told him Craig Moerer had half a dozen or so copies for $20 each.
  18. Hard record to find mate. I've got an issue (cost me about $30 about 3-4 years ago) Gotta be worth £100+ nowadays Regards Mace
  19. About £30 - £40, maybe more now. Sounds like its worth 10 times that though.....great tune

  23. Following comments on the Steam thread I am genuinely interested on the overall view on whether the quality of a venue (smart or seedy) makes or breaks an allnighter? I specifically ask about allnighters and not soul nights for a few reasons. 1. Its easier to get a smart venue at a reasonable cost for a soul night due to sociable hours for venue staff and overall cost of hire. 2. In my opinion, allnighters usually attract a different type of soulie, most soulnights seem to attract couples and the associated female partners prefer nice comfortable surroundings (though I'm not saying they don't at allnighters...hence the question) By the way, I'm not talking about cowsheds, disused bus depots or outside toilets. I know we are not getting any younger, and as we 'mature' we prefer finer things in life but I actually prefer the slightly 'seedier' venues....(suppose if the cap fits ) Your opinions please......
