Whereabouts in Alsager Dave? Sandbach was at The Town Hall (think Pep ran this?) There was also one at Congleton that Beggsy was involved with. Hensford..is this Hednesford?

I have an issue, which is obviously a proper one.... In deadwax is a handscribed matrix F-45-1392-1 with F-45-1393-1 on flip. Deadwax is approx 16mm wide from edge of label to last groove. Not seen the boots in the flesh, so not sure on deadwax/matrix info. Regards Mace

Muliticoloured label is much rarer than the yellow label...you should get a right good price on this

Hi Mike, I do know about your new event, had some good feedback about it from Bram. Getting out on friday night is hard work for me now, as my wife works till 10.45p.m. on a friday night, so I can never get away from home till then cus of looking after the pesky kids If I can sort anything out I will p.m. you. Roger Banks had it covered up as 'Play in your own backyard' Great record and certainly a hard one to find..... paid either £500 or £600 for mine a few years back.

Junior Lewis 'Tears on my face' promo is worth around £50 for an Ex copy....maybe a touch more....have seen on lists for £70+, but not so sure it sells for such. The other 2 x 45s by Junior Lewis you have listed are £30/£40 records, but not as easy to sell as 'Tears on my face' Regards Mace

Got a lovely 45 by Carl Spencer called 'Tired of work' (on Southside) ... theres a copy on Manships site for £30 (with a soundclip) Sue and its subsidery labels are indeed quality labels for producing some exceptional releases of this genre....Jimmy Merritt & Jimmy Helms to name a couple.......

Only just seen this.....hope you're on the mend Lee. Lee is a really nice guy, (though I once saw him run down some stairs and launch himself off the 3rd step and swing around 180 degrees, 6 feet high off a stair post to kick a pissed up foreign sailor smack in the face after he was hassling some suedehead in a boozer in Liverpool ) Please pass on my best wishes.
