  1. Hi Craig...does the Radiants have Heartbreak Society on both sides? If it has 'Please don't leave me baby' on flip it's worth double what you've listed it for mate. Regards Mace
  2. So has mine
  3. Used to go for £250+ but a few have turned up in recent years so I'd say £150 - £200 would be about right. Regards Mace
  4. I was joking in last post of course......no f*ckers gonna want to pay good money to see dodgy sex pics of Mr Freeman are they?
  5. Mark, just simply click on any link included within the email for logging into paypal and submit all your log in details. At the same time send 'em you full bank account details, all credit card details, info on where you hide your spare house keys when on holiday, and scans of any 'dodgy' sexual photos of you that may prove to be healthy blackmail fodder. Then just sit back and wait for that $1300 to wing it's way into your bank account...happy days P.S. I have recently inherited a vast 6 figure sum of money from a Nigerian relative, but cannot release the funds without paying an international release fee of £200 ...as I don't have a spare £200 at the moment I am willing to send you 90% of this vast 6 figure sum if you can pay the £200 into my bank account to assist me in releasing these funds. I would much prefer you to do this before logging onto paypal as I instructed you previously though.....
  6. After I've packed a box of oldies for ya
  7. Oi Dutton.....stop thieving my post editing/hand job jokes....
  8. Alternatively (and far more likely) we'll just carry on digging for more unknown tunes and get together in smaller venues to enjoy hearing such sounds, instead of gathering 1000 people together to celebrate all the clubs of yesteryear and listen to the same 50 records repeated 5 times over in a 10 hour session. Now there's something DEFINATELY worth looking forward to.........
  9. Presume your takes will be shot in Widescreen then Mark
  10. I have sold a Herald copy in last 12 months, and it usually fetches £300 no probs....after all its a quality tune that's well indemand especially on the R&B and Mod scenes..... Mind you, I remember Joe and his sidekick Hiscock tried telling me it was overpriced and worth £100 max at the time If I remember correctly the Raines version is pretty dire (there might even be a sound clip on Manships) I also seem to recall someone mentioned another version by a different artist on here a while ago? They do turn up though, I snatched one on buy it now off ebay a year or so ago whilst every man and his dog were playing out at Prestatyn
  11. More like £40 - £50 nowadays....seen it listed at £100 before now but that's waaaayyy too much IMO.
  12. Ah well, worth a try....we fly back on the 23rd. Don't suppose you fancy putting a night on in Allentown on the Sept 20th to entertain us Brits after a hard days work..go on, you know it makes sense
  13. Michael, don't suppose you have one of your nights on around Allentown dates do you?

  16. Hi Matt, I have this on Okeh white promo, but I'm sure I've seen it on another label, but can't remember what it was on? No clue on value, great tune. It's credited to L.Jones and backed by the Bobby Scott orch. Regards Mace
  17. Think it was still in his box last night @ £450
  18. You're actually missing the most important essence of the concept, labelling a record you don't personally like as being crap......one mans meat and all that.
  19. Think it was mentioned on the Pet Hates thread...not really banned, but watch yer back
  20. Thought that word, along with Choon and Choonage, were no longer acceptable on this site. MODERATOR ..........
  21. I don't see it as snobbery, just a case of wanting to collect the original.......same as collectors of any rare objects. As for being able to afford rare soul 45s, try to look outside the box of collecting the big obvious tunes that fetch big money....go out to the venues, scour the record bars, try to listen to plenty of tunes you don't know in sales boxes, ask sellers if they have any stuff they would recommend in the genre and budget you are after.....it's relatively easy to do if you are willing to put the time and effort into it. There are plenty of £20 - £50 records worth collecting, plenty of them could potentially go big and rocket in value. Try and build your own individual collection rather than chasing big tunes you can't afford.....and don't make the mistake of ploughing yourself in debt on credit cards, you'll only end up selling off records to pay off mounting debts...all imo of course.
  22. I've deffo seen more U.S. promos than issues.
  23. 1. You're cheap as chips 2. You bring lots of sales
  24. 'You don't know' link below (as posted by Ted)... /Nat-Hal...all#entry803198 Certainly as good as 'Why'.
