  9. That method won't fix the jump, but your finger will blister up so bad that it'll take your mind off the jump for a day or two Alternatively, if all else fails...try wetting a tiny piece of paper, roll it into a tiny hard sausage shape and wedge it between the stylus and the head, to prevent the bounce in the stylus....place onto record near jump (no added weight cus this can easily cut into styrene) and then just touch slighty as it approaches jump. You have effectively just turned your stylus into a minute cuting tool so be very careful and very patient if trying this. Don't try backturning with this method either cus your jump will deffo be replaced with a tidy 'hiss'...
  10. Probably because most of the time the 'big name' DJs are booked at venues to fill the floor, so end up satisfying the promoter and the majority of the dancefloor by playing safe. There are, of course, some who simply can't think 'outside of the (safe)box' Luckily, there are a few DJs out there who consistantly do the opposite, Karl Heard and Johnny Beggs being 2 prime examples, and guess where they are DJing this saturday...
  11. Thought you were suffering from some sort of canine/feline identity crisis for a minute there Joe. Mighty cheap though to be fair....

  20. I heard it was a massage parlour, and that the records were just a 'front' Explains why Des spends so much time in your place mind...especially since Beggsy rejected his lame advances P.S. Might be a good idea if you sell a varied selection of cake and puddings? Could pull a few ladies in if so... Welcome to Soul Source mate....if you think I'm a pain in the flesh wait till I torture you on here
  21. £150 sounds about right to me.
  22. I know of metal acetates made in the late 80s early 90s via Danny Hough in Swindon, so if he could get 'em made, I'm sure plenty of other folk could have done the same....could still look old and rough if from that time. It could have cut from the boot, hence why it's titled Mosquitoes and not Manny Corchado...making it a pretty worthless acetate of a boot in my opinion
  23. Seen one in sales section recently for £30. Maybe RayM selling it? Try a search if not.
  24. There was one on ebay a few months back, final price might be on popsike?
