  7. Reminded me of when I won a spare promo of this in a '40 x 45 lot' on ebay a few years back for $60 inc shipping.....no pic of records and it was mixed in with lots of stuff like Spice Girls 45s Had to take all the 45s as seller had prepacked 'em. Was half expecting it to be the white boot as I anxiously flitted through them upon arrival, but nope, luck was on my side again .
  8. Hi Dennis, might still have one of these knocking about somewhere....though I've got a feeling that Ted might have had it off me in trades a few months back (which is ironic seen as I got if off Linda about 4 years ago )

I believe a large percentage of people end up falling into personal comfort zones, like soggy sponges they seem able to absorb a certain amount until they are happy with their lot and want to keep it that way. Nowt wrong with that of course, until they start to critisize those who are still hungry for more unknowns. Nobody expects everybody to like everything, do what you do and enjoy it, those of us that want something different will do the same regardless, emperors new clothes or not.
  10. Suppose if you take in account ebay final sales fees and paypal fees then I suppose pricing it up as $500 cash at a show is as attractive a deal as $625 buy it now on ebay (which as I said, never reached bids higher than $160)....knowing Pete at the end of the show, you probably got it for around $250-$300....I had some beauties off him for $4 each at A'town I know of a Betty Everett for sale in U.K for £800 so even $500 would have been a bargain mate.
  11. Dennis, there has been a 45 copy relisted on ebay a few times over last month or so, as it only reached $160 or thereabouts and seller had high reserve. I think seller (Pete Wilgus) was at Austin show so don't know if you got his copy whilst you were there (he also listed it as a 'buy it now' for $625 or thereabouts, but it failed to sell)
