  6. Not Northern as such, but a great soul version of a classic that will hopefully have 'em all blubbing like babies when the following 4 lines kick in @ 1min 52secs... "Lord, I gets weary" "And I'm sick of trying" "I'm tired of living" "Oh, but I'm so scared of dying" Followed by a recording of a self composed fanfare of my own farts to the tune of "Gone with the wind is my love".............been working on it for a while but I keep end up following through about 2/3 of the way in.....
  7. I'd like to vote for Pete Smith cus he obviously got no votes last time.....
  8. I'm more suited to be nominated for the Outstanding Cnutribution Award to be fair Geese (in fact, it would be in the bag let's be honest ), but thanks for the mention (still full price admission on Saturday mind )
  9. Thanks for confirming. Must be a flaw with recording levels or pressing then.
  10. "Four more days" is quite a tough 45....."I feel a little lonely" got released twice on label but only one has "Four more days" on flip. Craig Moerer had quantity of the other one a while back, so check flip before buying. I have had a couple of copies in past, both had very slight distortion, mainly on first 30 seconds or so, not sure if this is on all copies as they looked really clean...anyone had a copy without any distortion?
  11. Great double sider, but a lot tougher to find than you'd think to be honest, and quite indemand just lately. You gonna be looking at 3 figures plus nowadays. Regards Mace
  12. So your Mam was called Jesus Dot. Think you got off lightly with Friday, Friday......
  13. Eric is soooo much funnier though, and far less obvious when stitching up a 17 year old receptionist....
  14. Drew Peacock...love it (not literally mind!)
  15. Just be thankful you weren't called Eric. I fondly remember, as a young apprentice, asking the receptionist to put a call out over the factory tannoy for an "Eric Hunt to the workshop" many a time...poor lass hadn't a clue
  16. Don't post it on here....start a new thread.....it will almost be a welcome change from all the ovfcukino threads of late......
  17. You don't wear the colour green too well at all do you Steve......
  18. Funnily enough I recently paid roughly that amount (with postage) for a copy of J T Parker...
  19. C'mon, leave Warren alone folks........... this guy taught me everything I know......if selling it's worth £300....if buying it's worth £6.85
  20. Take it you didn't see post 71 then Simon? Or couldn't you read it....?
  21. Most copies were hoovered up by dealers when they saw a quick buck could be made...that's why there is one (or more) on ebay every week at the moment. You will probably still be seeing them on ebay come Xmas....40% may well stay in collections, but is there 600 buyers still out there willing to pay $100+ for this 45...? I honestly doubt it myself, so I reckon it's gonna drop lots in value in the next 6 - 12 months. If you've bought a copy or two as an investment...I'd get shut asap....
  22. Its so bad it's hilarious......it cracks me up everytime I hear it, I even burst out laughing when I played the Youtube clip before posting Can imagine some hobo walking in on the recording and pulling a piece of folded paper and comb out of his pocket...either that or a bic fcuk off bluebottle wanting his 10 seconds of recording fame.......
  23. Got no issues with this meself.....along with pitching up and down..... Wish I could do it myself...my first project would be to remove the god awful 'paper & comb' break @ 1.37 mins in on Rosco Gordon "As you walk away"........ ....like to know who the fcuk thought that added owt extra to an already average record!
  24. Terry, do you reckon anyone out there has bought an OVO number plate for their car yet.........?
