  2. That's what threw me Chalky, cus Manship has that design label down as a vinyl boot (pic 447 in Manships 5th Edition) Looks like I opened a can of worms then!
  3. Recently got a vinyl promo copy that I am sure is a boot, but somewhat thrown by Manships pics. The label looks like pic 447a in the guide (no lines on label), which Manship states as original styrene promo with black text. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Mace
  4. Is this even a real word Phil? Your personal twist of the English language is most impressive pal!
  5. No worries....don't forget your mouthwash mind...you still need to pass on that Blowie your good lady gave you for getting me to fix your oven....any chance you can wear a blonde wig and some slutty lipstick!
  6. I know Chris has sweated blood the last few months getting this site constructed, not to mention having to cut down on lot's of his regular internet pornfun......well done Chris, the site looks great, and as a bonus you've saved a fortune of tissues in the the process!
  7. Why not, it's always worth asking the question......mind you, what if the US copy was actually more than the UK dealer had it priced at........would you offer more? There's always the risk of being hit with Customs/handling charges with the US copy mind. I must admit I also find it mildly amusing when buyers quote recent Popsike prices if lower than the price you have listed something for...but this never seems to happen if Popsike prices are higher

  10. Sounds like The Princess Suite, above Longton Bus Station, used to be Jollees, and also known as The Leisurebowl.

Sam, Michaels Mystics on Charlie is apparently the same version as The Mystics on Metromedia...which is much easier to find and lots cheaper! Regards Mace
  12. Pow Wow was booted as The Fly due to it being a massive record for Pittsburgh Club DJ Mad Mike. A certain Belgium dealer found a large quantity of unplayed stock a few years ago (presumably in Pittsburgh), and these have been trickling out ever since....which has probably led speculation to a fresh boot being produced. Worth no more than £30 max imo. Some copies of the boot sold for silly money before loads turned up, though I saw this one listed on ebay the other week for $149.99 buy it now........no surprise it never sold then.... https://www.ebay.com/itm/MAD-MIKE-MONSTER-MOSQUITOES-MANNY-CORCHADO-POW-WOW-SPANISH-FLY-LATIN-BOOGALOO-/310381808168?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item4844328a28
  13. Got to be a serious contender for thread of the year.....
  14. Do you get out much Bob ?
  15. He's not on here as far as I'm aware. Also not aware that he's selling it, I presume Carms was just highlighting the fact that he had a copy?
  16. RnB45.com ? https://www.rnb45.com/board/index.php
  17. Killa from Stockport. Think he bought Ted Couldstones old copy, which also came via Bob Morris. Got mine from Des Parker for the princely sum of £20 when it was still relatively unknown.
  18. British humour Bob, more commonly found in Northern England where we thrive on being sarcastic at other peoples misfortunes
  19. Alternatively, you could purchase the strongest, most potent glue on the market. Fill a small bag, and inhale fumes for 20 minutes. Record will then sound absolutely fine, and you won't give a fcuk about the ruined deck !
  20. Well that's of no consequence in this issue cus it sound like the record in question is fcuked anyway. As is the record deck, shortly followed by Bobs toothbrush by the sounds of things!
  21. This was also issued, though I only actually know of one issue and that belongs to Denbo, who bought it from Bob Morris.......who I believe sold it cus he presumed the promo would be tougher to find................oops!
  22. Did the glue seperate easily in one piece on the side you intended to glue? Was there any sign of any dirt, particles etc embedded in the underside of the dried glue you removed? This is riveting stuff !
  23. Bob, why on earth did you do it on the turntable? You should have just placed the 45 on top of an old newspaper or something so that any drips, or residue spilling over the outer edge of the record just landed on the newspaper etc
  24. .....and on what grounds do you base that comment Nige?
