    NICE REPLY 101 SCAMSTERS SEEMS TO BE A VERY GOOD WORD !!! THERE are 2 many things going on not like days gone bye 70s we was there because we loved and still do the music where will these PROMOTERS BE WHEN THEY HAVE F....D AND DESTROYED OUR SCENE. On maybe to another little earner ??TAX that wont even be mentioned with em why dont they with there BIG MONEY GET OUT OF OUR SCENE and find some other music before ours as gone for ever About time people started looking at these people with the respect they deserve NONE

    NICE replies dancing demon !!I think myself people (CALLED PROMOTERS) are in it to make a few bob at the W/ENDS they have no passion or feeling for the music !!Truth be known they are DESTROYING THE WHOLE SCENE half wasnt around years ago and wont even admit they are new to the scene and have no past history with northern in it to make a killing and killing the scene aswell well done PROMOTERS!!!(nb not all promoters)

    dont think theres any footage off BOOPER in action shame really was a pleasure to watch was talking to him at PRESTATYN last week should have asked him about the dancing comps at wigan will do next time i see him at the wheel he was the BEST!!!!!!

    as a 16 year old feb 1974 walking into the pink elephant club in aspull nr wigan on a wet thursday night and heard franki valli im gonna change and boy did i CHANGE that was it for me and still on the scene some 30 plus years later and ive luved every minute off it and wish i could do it all AGAIN !!!!!     i met sue a few times down in wales i use to go out with her sister gill now she never mentioned winning any dance comps and the fact i come from wigan and went to the casino 73/74 you would have thought she would have said there was a girl from wigan who i am 99% sure won a dance comp there june time 74 but frank booper still keeps popping up in my head aswell (prolific dancer) next time i see frank at the wheel i will ask him and i try and find out that girls name from wigan aswell if anyone out there or sue herself reads this tell em i asked how they are keeping

    potteriespeck got to agree 100% these days they cant dance and youre also true in saying they have no feeling for the music ive seen em all at wigan early days back drop splits and all that!!! my mate is ant burke off you tube (the lad spinning round)and to this day when we talk about dancers 1 name just crops up FRANK BOOPER and for all of you out there who never see him dont even try and compare he was the best ever at wigan by a mile and its nice to talk to him when i see him at the wheel and we have a laugh about certain things!! VIVA BOOPER
