    No house for sale, just to clarify I rent it, and the records won't be sold in individual lots, straight to a standard auction house I'm afraid.About 5000 so won't be selling in dribs and drabs as I wouldn't have the time. Hi all Generally as it's records were here for it's more about how to dispose of records or whether it's worth storing them for six months I hear a lot of people selling up and it's a big haul so I would be getting rid in one go, haven't made up my mind yet ...storage seems quite excessive.

    Had enough need to fly off for a while.. Question is do I sell up? Do I put into storage? I'm edging toward common or garden auction, storage seems a pretty high price to pay. Too many to do individual sales. Ideas?

    Throughly enjoyed, just the right length of time, cool crowd, great people from the welcome at the door, to an abundance of people who just came up and said hello, super selection of music, very varied population of dancers, including. 2 girls lighting up the floor with their synched manoeuvres 2 fantastically gay guys rocking it, it was loony, just the way it should be, in a suitably mooded subterranean venue, really thrilled to be out again, and deffo go to it again. Banging mix of music older early RnB odd motown bit and northern in the mix, recognisable and not so well known. Recommended.

    Keeping it on for now, theres a lot of pound bin movies on there. Watched a handful of good blaxploitation movies on it.

    If you're in Lincs amd haven't already then try the next Barton (on Humber) Soul at the Rooms lots of friendly faces, it's worth a go. Also Hull soul club Walton St. It's friendly and the music is superb. You'd be very welcome.

    As a cutting edge DJ myself , I have to collect to keep up with the changes and trends which are vital to the northern soul scene. Fantasy over now back to work. Always on the eye for new releases, from new artists and whatever pops up. More in shops and live sales than online now

    Hate to put a dampener on this thread but on early Monday evening blaring out of a celebrated public house in Doncaster, it was Frank Wilson followed by kicks on the floor from Dobie Gray. Bought a tear to my eye it did. I didnt go in.
