  3. Got a UK Nancy Wilson Capitol album 1965 at the weekend with " Reach out for me " on , slightly over budget , but only a quid !! Very pleased , did this ever come out on a 45 ? Except in France as an EP .Best ,Eddie

Just been in the loft sorting through some fanzines ,records etc , and found this record list from Simon Soussan July 1976 .This is famous for two reasons , Simon slagging off many of the scenes " names " , and also this was the list where his vocals to famous Northern Soul Instrumentals appeared for sale along side many other indemand sides masquerading as originals .Would be interested to hear if anyone on this forum actually sent for any of the records on the list and did they get anything back ? I remember buying The Flirtations at Wigan for £15 shortly before it was pressed in bulk .Interesting reading anyway , hope you all enjoy , Best ,Eddie

Just got back from a mates funeral who died suddenly [ aged 47 ] , at the beginning they played Al Green " Let's stay together " and at the end The Isley's " I Guess I'll always love you " , two very common records to most of us , but very emotional in the context of a church service , these two records will always have a special memory for me now , R.I.P Pete .   22. The long hot soulful summer of '76 takes some beating- Wigan mainly for me . Now you've got the upper hand , She'll come running back ,People thats why , Stronger than her love ,Pain in my heart , I can see him loving you , Send him back etc etc .Also last year of Wigan ,Searling on top form , and Minshull playing some brilliant oldies Some great freinds made like Mudd ,Tommo [ both r.i.p. ] plus Rob and Chris Marriott ,Rob Wigley , Chris Shaw , Dave Molloy etc Best ,Eddie
