This is probably my favourite Bobby Womack record [ along with Harry Hippie ] . Millie Jackson's version on her epic " Caught Up " set is also superb . Best ,Eddie

Bobby's probably my all time fave Soul man , here's a personal fave ""Only Survivor " from his " So many rivers " set on MCA . Probably one of only a few Soul records to feature a banjo , saw him sing this live at Hammersmith Odeon 1985 - unforgettable !!! Best ,Eddie Mp3 deleted.

Pulled out a ' 45 yesterday that I hadn't played for ages ,Sir Guy and The Rocking Cavaliers " My Sweet Baby " /" Funky Virginia " DPG 801 .The top side is in that Stafford crossover kinda style , whilst the flip side is in a great Deep Funk meets Northern vein , and far better than the title suggests .Any one got an opinion on this disc , and whats it worth ?
