    I would have probably plumped for Richard Caiton as well Gareth , but seeing as you've chosen it my choice is Clyde McPhatter " Anyone can tell [ we're in love ] " from the Decca album " Welcome Home " .Fantastic lyrics and production put this at the top of the Crossover tree for me .Great thread mate ....Best,Eddie

    Thats fair enough Pete ,I wouldn't consider many of them to be Northern Soul either , however many have crossed back to the Northern Soul rooms [ Richard Caiton , Bitter and The Sweet etc ] , so this blurs the line somewhat .Cheers mate ,Eddie

    You're correct Ady , Vicky and her assistant came to the last Banbury Soul night , are really nice people .They filmed Sue and a few others dancing , and is genuinely interested in doing a serious project on the scene , and it's history .I hope some people come through and help her , as this looks an interesting project .Best wishes ,Eddie
