when was johnny honeycutt priced at 200/300/400? blimey when i bought my copy off gary spencer 100 years ago it was 700/800 then.....incidently when i met him in charlotte on a visit over.he couldn,t even remember recording the song....i have a great photo of johnny and myself posing in the record studio. the photo was taken while we were in chattie hatties recording studio.hattie leeper that is . we had no idea johnny was living around the area .she gave him a call and i remember she said ,he,ll be around soon he,s just having his hair done .....he was great and gave me his business card ,address etc he was doing weddings or something ,i recall.the photo,s in a frame along with others andy, jack ashford,gino,jackie beavers ,and stuff at his home.do you remember his record room andy ?it was all unreleased stuff..amazing...i,m sure you must remember telling you and rob on our return. send me your email and i,ll see what we can do.

oh no ! ......steve ,a dear friend ,a total gent ,knew his stuff.....and was only speaking to chris his wife a few weeks ago........i,m shocked and sad to hear this terrible news .the north east has lost a lovely lad ,who was so so passionate about his records .......i along with loads of others thought the world of steve ....rest in peace steve crozier a proper soulman.

its a joke ,but as long as people keep buying this crap, the chancers will knock them up............

can i just make you aware of a certain person who was advertising rare 45,s through discogs over 18ths ago.i myself was caught out by this person along with highly respected collectors and dealers over here. i did manage to get back some refund but to this day am five figures down ...good god i hear you say.? well this chap turned out to be selling on behalf of another collector in the states .whom he trusted .needless to say the records were never sent and the dealer in europe is financially ruined,and his personal life in serious trouble,according to latest emails etc. this seller used all kinds of christian phrases ,high morals,upstanding fine behaviour.i myself have been brought up as a christian gentlemen...........however ,if you smell a rat,and your gut instinct says somethings not right.then i wish i,d listened to my gut instinct and not followed the chase.i would not have lost so much......buyers beware.

i,m sorry but i don,t believe it , he wanted 7k for the magnetics but accepts 1100,thats if hes got the records ......no sorry hes been rumbled.....

had the privilege to meet the man on a visit to detroit over 20 years ago.....had a very interesting lunch with him along with friends chris and pete.

i can safely say that there must be more than 1 copy of the very rare st louis press .as i have as close to a mint one ,but sold my chicago press to get it (dimples and thinner vinyl )
