By the way Godzilla, you'd just have stopped playing the record altogether when it got knackered instead of sourcing a legitimate reissue that didn't hiss, crackle and pop? You can't deny me a little pleasure in my dotage.

    Got an absolutely wrecked original so bought the Destiny and the Jay Boy over the years both absolutely fine to play out and when asked over the years there was that DaDa moment as I pulled my knackered one out of the back of the box, those days are gone and I don't carry it around anymore but would never sell it anyway despite John Hillel badgering me for the last 15 years!

    An absolute soul genius,a true collossus of the music industry who was so respected by all members of the music industry for his staggering talent and effusive manner.Never Mr I Am,always Mr Congeniality he was a treasure to us all and his life story would make a brilliant film. I must play a couple of his tracks at our event on Friday to mark his passing, just one problem how do I choose from his catalogue?....RIP Bobby we'll all miss you.

    Record now sold privately to Gareth for £300...sorry for any inconvenience to prospective buyers. I have got another one in similar condition I might put on next year,if I don't play it out in the next few months.

I'll give more details to prospective buyers. Usually I sell privately but in order to give everyone a chance I'm going to list a few of my seconds on soul-source...starting with the brilliant..... Nothing Can Compare To You --Velvet Satins...General American Ex £310.00 its original on the red with the yellow swirl and in excellent condition playing through perfectly. Please note the photo showing bell sound stamp.There are a couple of paper rubs but that doesn't affect play at all,hence the price on a record usually fetching more than £375 nowadays. Sound file will be made available to serious prospective buyers via an email attachment.
