  3. yes its a Madison.......with slightly altered lyrics (e.g" two boss lines" ).......ive got the sheet music to Ray Bryants 1960 orig....which uses "freeze"....."hit it"..."your lookin good"...etc.......

  9. ive noticed this over the last few years......selling and seeing e bay prices.....recently i saw a VG ++ copy of the Compliments (time of her life) on Congress go for 25 on e bay.......this used to be 75 all day long.......anyone else perceived this trend?
  10. my Servicemen on Chartmaker is well warped..but plays if i get the right arm pressure....which i check every time i play it......i would need a lot of convincing before i tried to have if unwarped. .i dont think its a heat warp........

  12. ive just checked and i posted the acetate in 2007 on refosoul as "test press" give it a listen stevie......note "dream girl" on the acetate is the same as the Drew release...
  13. i have a blank label acetate of Precisions "instant Heartbreak" which sounds like the released take but 5RPM slower ( and imo better)....so anyone djing the Drew copy should pitch it down to get how it was recorded...try it

  20. theres a very good fast driving version of "Wade in the Water" by Jessy Dixon and the Chicago Community Choir on Savoy..super dancer...i dont think its on 45....ive got it on the Best of Jessy Dixon double LP Savoy SGL7021.(I like it so much ive got 3 copies)..the orig LP(a rare one) is "These heavy burdens wont last always" on Gospel MG 3055.....
