    some additional info...Owes a lot to "Fever".....Dolores was associated with Johnny Otis Band/Revue...the orig release of this was on Ultrasonic (delta matrix 37808..so early 61.)..i guess the Elloma followed soon after...Loma is a street in LA........

    some more Herman Griffin.......the Great 45 is an organ instrumental of Willie Hatcher on Columbia....the HOB 45 is early Motown........cha cha cha!

    i think "Carl" is Carl Stewart...he had a solo release on Copyright.....also the Carl Stewart on Mercury(i aint goin'back to that) sounds similar vocally...also theres Tony Washington with Carl Stewart and the Sonics on Venture(not the LA label i suspect).."someone always cryin"...which i havent heard..(soundfile anyone?)...Tony Washington also recorded for Jamo and Peacock...ive always thought the guitar style on "Lift Me" sounds like Gerald Sims...is there a Southern/ Chicago connection possibly....(not unheard of )

    the Lost Nite issue of "Quiet as its Kept" by Lee Andrews is worth getting as its a different take from the Rca-Victor 45 ..(more sparse...)
