Many thanks for all who attended our first event at the masonic for silktown soul club on Friday. I was just such a nice feeling to bring old friends and regulars from the days of Macclesfield soul club at the venue. Obviously there is a lot of love for this venue and fond memories to be cherished. In re-establishing the venue we set out to offer a quality northern souls night in a wonderful venue, our first night really did that. The residents had dancers up and at it from early doors but when former promotor Ashley Fellows took to the decks proceedings moved to the next level. Ashley really does know this crowd and really delivered a top notch set full of dancefloor detonators. Next up we had Ted Massey from the west Midlands, Ted's reputation goes before him and he showed he's still right on top on his game offering us music the very few others own. The evening was brought to a close by the able residents, myself, jez Jones and Paul Dale who kept the floor busy till close. We hope you can join us on the 1st November at this great venue when Macclesfield soul club legends mopsey and foxy join us!

One of the best new additions to the allnighter calender in my book, great venue, transport links and a superb line up at this event. Really looking forward to hearing Tony, who rarely gets our of that London!

Proper excited to play at taworth, did I mention I love this event! 😁 Anyway if you've not been, it's proper, hidden away, dark and underground feel. The crowd are discerning and always reactive to a banger! The music really diverse everything from modern to R and B, classics, the lot! To get to play at the dirty time 3am, well it's bucket list stuff. Sone might like the honour of playing in W1C postcodes but this is a far bigger accolade in my book, these people mean it!
