  9. But there not as bad as most orders from abroad, from people with mixed feedback, just got one, from a guy, in the us buying a 2,99 tune, the post is going to be at least, £7.80, he's got 66% feedback, and before I even read it i'm like.... here we go again.
  10. I've had similar experiences on there, in fact I've only ever had offers on records under £20!
  11. fair point, your also guaranteed authenticity.
  12. deserves to be absolutely massive, but seems to be around in too much quantity at the moment, guess they'll all dry up someday, we'll realise there were only a few hundred of the stock, and then everyone will want one.
  13. noticed on mixcloud that the track identifiyer, that pops up to ident a track often gives you the option of buying music, but Sometimes the artist aren't the originals! for instance bob James's classic 'nautilaus just popped up on a mix by..... Copycat?? this has happened on several tracks before, does it mean that the orginal artist wont get credit or funds for the prospective purchase??
  14. for me its all about aesthetics, and having a ream of Columbia demos followed by the issues, just looks great so I go altha labels every time
  15. think ion had one for sale on month ago about £100
  16. slightly off topic, but Domar always put this on his list and said it was played at the mecca, was it??!! apologies in advance if I offend anyone, lol.
  17. I was thinking about this point, the real problem is the lack of a big central venue thats progressive, especially since we've no lifeline now, it came real close to being just that.
  18. ist difficult for anyones exclusives to be considered big sounds, how can they be if only one dj is playing them? big sounds for that dj, but on the whole scene? some have already pointed out that sounds filter down, but how can they if the're one off and were talking ovo here?
  19. rock with brass was all the rage back in the late 6ts/early 7ts, love it myself, the best and most successful being Blood, sweat and tears
  20. great to hear the're still around, will try to check there contemporary stuff out.
  21. bit like motors tune though, once you get one you start to notice them everywhere, especially if its something you weren't aware of till you purchased a copy.
  22. bobby treetop seems to have jumped a bit, and the Velors
  23. 5 years ago you'd be hard pushed to get £20 for it.
  24. not wanting to part with certain tunes comes into play too, Is it just that certain keep fetching the prices so they keep getting bug out of colections where as others languish because they don't reflect there true rarity in terms of sales. Conversely I've picked up a few tunes that are unfashionable now , but I couldn't get a sniff at in the 80'sbecause they were getting played and too pricey for me.
