  1. Looks fantastic, heard it's a great night right in the heart of the city
  2. Rugby had some great nighters last year looking forward to the first of the year
Massive massive thank you to all who attended Macclesfield masonic last night. What a top night, amazing to be involved with the revival of this great venue. Our honourable guests Ethan Brent James Howarth, who had me deserting door duties to race to the dance floor for 'Nite people ' and Jordan Wilson who has become a real force of nature in terms of selection and confidence or delivery. Both brought their A game to keep the dancers happy and create a real buzz on the silky dance floor. My back was proper done in but I still couldn't resist a shuffle Music wise, the emphasis truly is on the dancefloor, everything from big current sounds, quality oldies to out and out classics from the roots of the scene, it all goes down. Always room to try something fresh though and great to see the below get a great reception. PXL_20250117_221537366~2.mp4 Our next is March 21st, proper Northern soul for dancers, simple!
  3. Expecting a busy night. Don't miss out people
  4. Not long now, polish your dancing shoes
  5. Now that's passion, hope he wasn't the only one on the floor!
  6. Weather looking much more hospitable this week, get yourself to Macclesfield!
  7. Been exploring the genre/ scene through YouTube ect myself, seems to be a parallel lowrider funk genre or scene, largely based around the Zap sound.
  8. We have a well lit side room where a fair bit of cash changed hands at our last event. There always someone looking to bag a bargain!
  9. Went the curry mile a few weeks back, zivza, was the best place. Still.a few good curry houses
  10. Forgot to mention sales are very welcome
  11. Blame Burnham! And that arse hole of nighttime czar. Central Manchester at least hasn't the nightlife it once had, loads of venues have closed and clubbing has become more corporate. Room at the top, still seems to thrive though and credit to Jordan and crew involved. Id noted recently with the suspected Demise of the batcave, again, keele or the Gathering are now the most northerly all nighters! Both in stoke! Hardly Carlisle! Sad that the north seems to have nothing allnight in lancs or Yorkshire.
  12. Djs that dance! Interesting concept
  13. Just few days to go! Local cheap hotels available
  14. Just a we reminder of that dancefloor, a true dancers delight! Really no need for talc guys!

  17. Aye up merry new year happy folks! Came across a feature on Anthony Bordain's parts unknown TV show, about deep city, an interview with Willie Clarke and Helen smith, I think singing, it's about 15 years old. Series 5 episode 4, i think . I also came across the inview with Willie from us TV. I apologise for the quality of the clips. Bordain's show is regularly repeated on eden channel, he's amazing!

  19. Really looking forwards to spinning a few at this great venue. Bring it on!
  20. My brother postsed one before the reveal on FB and I commented I'll reserve judgement before I hear them more. I feel similar about lots of non AI new release, I initially like them but they quickly loose their appeal. Its like watching special effects in old movies somehow, after looking more carefully you can see the strings!
  21. What line up, Chicago doing I'm a man! Wow
