I think it does - Some of the best venues can lack in atmosphere because of being low on numbers, which is due to those missing people having somewhere else to choose. Too many venues splinters the 'customer base' All the best, Len

I don't think you can tell what an event is like by play lists alone, or (obviously) how many people attend. Most people who are 'out 'n' about' know what venues are for them, but trying somewhere for the first time will always be a bit of a gamble. All the best, Len

Hi ‘Mr Boogaloo’, The last time I saw you was at Hitchin Football Club yonks ago, I suppose we’re just ‘Soulin’ in different places…..This record (in my opinion) is worth at least £200.00......But (in this case) £150.00 because that is what you have offered.....Now the 'problem' with this record is, yes it may not be as 'rare as hens teeth' but it's one of those records that most people hang on to, which makes it very 'hard' as opposed to very ‘rare’ (Not a lot of difference if you think about it)…Whichever — THIS RECORD IS THE DOGS B*LLOCKS! ….Further more…… ……The point I’m trying to make folks, is that the more we go on about ‘O.V.O’, the more silly we all sound because it makes such an issue of it. Here’s an example that kind of explains what I mean - If someone who I looked up to for years and thought pretty cool, all of a sudden turned round and told me they were cool - I would immediately hate their guts and lose all respect I ever had for them. In other words, we need to stop going on about it because it actually has the opposite effect to what people who do ‘shout it from the roof tops’ are trying to achieve.
