I suspect The Sun got it wrong, Roger Banks chatted about Nev to me (He was a friend of his) Maybe someone can confirm the age, 40 or 28 is far to young of course. Len

I just listened again to the sound clip of Nev Wherry DJing - There's something magical about it. So sad to learn (from Roger Banks at New Century Soul) that he died at the early age of 40. I would have loved to have met him, going by what people have written, he was an approachable person, and obviously loved sharing the music that he discovered. Respect. Len

I first knew of his name through that L.P 'The Record Collector' on the Destiny label (Picture on the front of a guy in a cellar surrounded by records) This LP was part of a batch of records given to me when I was 15 years old, which started me record collecting, and was my first 'insight' to this strange world - I remember reading the notes.......'Discovered by'......It intrigued me, whilst I was absolutely mesmerized by the sounds I was hearing - Magic Len
