you are absolutely right. I was not trying to be all too negative LOL or destructive..in fact it was a tongue in cheek coment spiced with irony.food for thought and in fact discussion. I am glad most did get it and understood where I was coming from. still a fabulous place -soul source- if not the best to talk all thing soul. long may it continue.

I know what you mean Benji, and I agree, a fabulous record. I am not trying to talk it down, its just that I personally made the mistake to play it way too often. sort of individual over dose if you know what I mean.

mmmh think you are (only) half-right there...as both are not (were not in the case of cj) known to many at all. vivian jones still C/UP for example.. no point with the big known stuff like al williams or joe jama at all anyway, especially when listed correctly. With you on that one.

Think you miss the point mate, its not about big, known and establihsed rarities that a blind man would find on ebay every day...its about semi-known, miss-listed, wrongly-titled and so on bargain auctions...

In 100% of the times an ebay item gets "announced" on here you can bet the person announcing it wont take part in the auction anyway. The need for "5 minutes stardom" and/or jealousy seem to be the main reasons I suppose. Think that answers your question callum. And yes, I have been upset by this about 100 times at least myself in the past.

That should be "I` m Her Only Man" backed with a very nice typical New Orleans sounding ballad in the shape of "I Want To Love You" ... in my box since a good few years as is also another that so far had no mention in this thread...White Cliffs 233 Ann Daniels "Love Bug" my absolute favourite on the label (at the moment).
