  1. Wether it has been withdrawn or just suffered from poor sales, fact remains today it is a very rare, in fact one of the rarest, US Motown releases. I only remember one going thru ebay (a demo which is the one tlscapital posted) and I remember considering bidding on it back then but as I already had an issue in the end did not. Not one copy slipped thru discogs in all those years. Musically I am with you though...not her best shot.
  2. THATS THE ONE ... ...DOH! Thanks
  3. Need help please: Since a good few days I have a song on my mind and keep humming the refrain, female lead, male backing, guys refrain goes "That girl is guilty" - this could be Detroit or Chicago related and I am quite sure once a knowledgeable and helping hand gives the hint I will go like "Doh! Of course " but I can´t come up with title and artist, anyone can help ?
  4. 18 years here but I also seem to remember there was some sort of change, didnt we first work with an email based system ? Mike most probably will know. Also what happened to the other site "Rare Soul Talk" (?), was that before SS started or later ?
  5. could well be 243 instead of 248
  6. Hard to tell really, too hard... might be what you describe as an italic script but I seriously can not detect it too well. But what I additionally I found with the help of some extra sunlight is the number "248" ..
  7. the run out matrix reads AT2880 - Title (as with all other ATAC releases) - Archer (etched in) and a symbol I can`t work out (will try again tomorrow with sun light
  8. I have a stamped vinyl test press which states ATAC records on the label and just like the Perfecta one carries the ATAC rel matrix AT2880, placing it right after Tim Dougherty`s AT2879 - with the next offcial ATAC rel continuing via AT2930. At a not so wild guess and going by this test press the initial release was intended to be on ATAC when it only ever saw the light of day later on Perfecta, its sub label with only one other release.
  9. sold out now, thanks for the interest
  10. one sold, one left

Contact via PM Payment via Paypal FnF only Signed for shipment only The Opposite End „I’m Free / Breaking Up“ LUCI-FER VG+ Heavy double hitter - one side is unknown fast paced Garage Soul that was played c/up a couple of years ago and a tearjerking deep flipsde. A handful of this double sided beauty were found a couple of years ago, all gone now - this beauty here despite some marks n label vinyl wise is EX and priced accordingly at 315 GBP (was 350) Freddie Butler „I `m Gonna Be With You“ M&M Completely under he radar and a firm spin for me since the late 9ts at places such as the Hideaway or the Hip City of course. Still unknown to most due to its incredible rarity. This was my first copy, VG only but highly enjoyable still and more than just „fine for deejaying“ with! A blank for youtube - so please find a clip on my last sales topic. Ernest Thomas „Daddy Juicy“ SOUL INTERNATIONAL - THE DIFFERENT + RARER FIRST RELEASE! - Do not get mixed up with the inferior later take via #0022 - Tabby Thomas most have had strong confidence in this song seeing he recorded it a few years earlier already for the very same label. However, before you is this much much better and rarer # 0011 a completely different much harder and way better take! Will see to get a clip uploaded laters! Dead rare and a utube and discogs a no-hitter.. only one spare. 450 GBP (was 500) Joe Medwick „Whatever It Takes“ Westpark My old Joe Midnight C/UP and what an explosion of a record it is. 14. It doesnt let me upload the soundfile for the Ernest Thomas #0011 take in the format it has been recorded, pm me for details if you wanna listen to it and we will arrange, cheers
  15. A handful of very tasty and mostly under the radar fresh Rare Soul tunes from my crate, the sort of stuff we love to spin at the Hip City Soul Club here in Berlin. All are spares and in all cases we look at the final spare copies. Once these are gone into collections, they are gone. Contact via PM Payment via Paypal FnF only Signed for shipment only Here we go: Ron Rush „Cloudy For Me / Cold Cold Man“ ALDCO Ron Rush of Rush & Gross fame amongst many other heavy involvements as a singer, writer or producer. A handful of this double sided beauty were found a couple of years ago, all gone now - this beauty here despite some marks n label vinyl wise is EX and priced accordingly at 350 GBP Shades „Someone I Can Love“ BLK Monster of a garagy, upfront fast paced dancer. Almost completely under the radar and a fave tune at my place. Not the same group as on Country Color but equally as good although in a slightly different vein. 250 GBP Freddie Butler „I `m Gonna Be With You“ M&M Completely under he radar and a firm spin for me since the late 9ts at places such as the Hideaway or the Hip City of course. Still unknown to most due to its rarity. This was my first copy, VG only but highly enjoyable still and more than just „fine for deejaying“ with! I still love it big time. Managed to track down a couple of copies, here are my last two (2) in M- shape - take it now or regret.. 235 GBP Firs come - first served. Thanks for looking and enjoy your Sundays folks.
  16. Looking for a copy, apparently they are already sold out via the website. Please pm if you can help, thanks in advance!
  17. spot on, thats exactly the point mate: in the right room ect. - most people / dj`s never understood that theres not every 45 suiting every location, room. Surely noth for the main hall in Blackpool or the like..
  18. That is a VERY good question, don`t remember actually. Think it was/ we did.. but not for long as one seller listed it on ebay with a soundfile from whereon it didnt make any sense really to keep it c/up..
  19. The first two to have played it c/up were Andy Dyson and me, Andy discovered it and gave me his spare. Early 2ks.
  20. Gene Toones: I already paid 2/3 of yesterdays price 5/6 years ago. Mint copy but still of course a ridiculous price to pay and I only did it because it was a lifetime long want and in mint condition. So no blame to the buyer, if you want it, you want it. What amazes me though is the price for Cajun Hart....
  21. That Inspirations 45 is a brilliant record indeed and rare. But it was a Hip City c/up of mine initially, entitled Soul Bros Six in reminiscence of Gary Spencers old Idols (USA) c/up by the same name - as its does sound similar in parts.
  22. Wanted. Clean labels and VG+ or better. Thank you.
  23. One could think so but actually no. Danny told me that his JIN was his last recording back then. Which by the way used to be a c/up of mine a few years ago..
  24. I remember one sunny day early 2ks in Berlin when you told me that to be one of your (current?) fave tunes. A great record, the funk side is nice but average compared to so many of its genre whereas "It Dn`t matter" is indeed class. I remember buying mine of you in one of our "take the whole box with you, we meet tomorrow at yours to negotiate" occasions. great times. Hope your doing fine Andy.
