  1. Are you on about the copy Manship had up for auction or the copy I played while Tim was dancing
  2. When Tim Brown was guesting at the Hip City last year that was the first record he was dancing to so I thought to my silly self that this particular 45 must have something like a revival over there (the UK)...seen several go over the last months for way more then the 5 UKP I once paid for it. I think the hefty price tag in this particular case is due to it being a WD which are indeed scarce.
  3. I sold a WD two years ago for 20 UKP
  4. tripple that amount.
  5. Goodness me, twelve pounds only.....buy this top screamer !
  6. Nice R&B 45 on Atco...just sold one.
  7. I think you made no mistake...definitely as rare as the Carl Underwood
  8. You are somehow right about the Salt & Pepper one...but again his voice makes even this dull tune something special IMO
  9. great tune...not many have or know it. Scarce. Carl Willingham has one but I think he did not play it out (?), me I have one and I will definitely playing it out...before or after Carl Underwood
  10. in fact nearly every King Coleman 45
  11. Have his "I Spy" also with a picture cover.
  12. flip to "down In The Basement". Hard to get but still reasonable priced. Great record both sides!
  13. Had this for sale also on here weeks ago with no takers and finally sold it last friday for a tenner...euros that is not pounds
  14. No, its true. Butch told me the same a few weeks ago while walking around in Hamburg. marc
  15. Vedry good call Sir, reminds me also on that other beauty by him "You Changed My Whoel Life Around"...now that is a gritty R%B Northern tune that could well do with a bit of reactivating IMVHO
  16. Maybe you should have asked yourself that question before putting it up ?
  17. 50...seen for 90

  19. Richard Street & The Distants along Roger wade, Alberta Adams and Will Hatcher surely will be o interest only to collectors ofthe early Detroit sound and/or label collectors. But IMVHO they are all great music and surely are all among the more rare ones on the label
  20. One hell of a great Northern track....been after one ever since I first heard it via George Sharp mid eighties
  21. The scan you are referring to Challky is indeed showing only the done 7inch pressing. Not the original acetate if in this case there ever was one.
  22. Surprised nobody mentioned the recent Al Williams tune...also a great unissued track.
  23. A fantastic tune indeed. Sadly I can not do RA`s but can tell you that along with this Jobete Acetate I also purchased another really great uptempo Motown tune in the shape of the Valadiers "Tell All Your Friends"...even Tim Brown likes it
