HI Richie, I will...although I am afraid he won`t have many use for this message as it was the two of us discussing this...Hahaha...Ellipsis...YES ... !
I have an original Jobete acetate of this by Brenda and must say that this version really has sth. Sadly condition ain`t too good on my original acetate so I won`t be able to play it out.
Re Eric Mercury...last one on ebay went for slightly over 3000 USD. Great 45. Where is my copy
I seem to remember they were from NOLA and moved to California as so many other artists (on Pzazz) as well. Most of them were somehow related withthe AFO group of labels and the whole Dover group after their demise.

I once had nect to "HRTH" another Quaint 45 by Otis Lee (blue label). Think it resides with Andy Dyson now. If that is the tune you are on about it is a decent ballad (both siedes) but nth to get over excited about.

Many thanks for thinking of me there Dave, but it ain`t work at all and really can`t ever be too much can it ? Noooooooooo
Simon Thompson and Ali and John do also spring to my mind when thinking of good and forward thinking DJ`s.
What a great singer he was...in fact I do like his Deep Soul outings even more. Did you know he died a year later of heart attack ? While listenening an watching you can understand why.

Hi Pete, as I am a very moody person and change my mind like the weather (nah, not really..) I would need an answer to my pm soon...it may be that I don`t want to sell tomorrow what I offered yesterday

Sold my copy (only ever saw two despite having had all her other Federal releases as well) maybe one year ago via soul-source to a fellow soul talker. It was on one of my sales lists and only two people wanted it if I remember correctly. Wouldn`t mind a copy back though.

Used to play the Del-Royals two years ago, sold a Tyrone Barkley at 20 the same year and have a mint Del Royals issue at 50 UKP up for grabs, let me know

Well, from what I have heard from several persons who should know it was another case of "only 50 showed up" in the early eighties. I only ever saw one FROM AN AMERCIAN SELLER, so that copuld make it 51 if you like...the price was that high because of demand over the last years and the fact that so many are for sale at the moment could be that most proud owners would only be to willing to let their copy go at that high price (just like I did twice already over the years ). Great record though.
