  4. It`s by Jackie Brenston Chalky, don`t have a soundfile but I am sure you will find one while browsing. It´s believed toi be the first record that changed from 78 to 7". It is "available" in both formats (for the first time back in the day) and the 7" is/was worth a lot of money. Very much sought after by R&B and serious Rock`n´Roll collectors. Marc
  5. This normally is just so hard to sell even at its "book" price of 25o UKP....
  6. Simply super fantastic !
  7. WoW . You do not have that list anylonger for discography reasons by any chance ?
  8. Not better, different I would say. So I missed the one at Stanley`s I am sure it was the "dancer" . Marc
  9. I do know of two, I got one "Is It All A Bad Dream" (off ebay) and am still looking for the other one...please.
  10. Let`s hear it for the other side as well Chalky...a real double sider. Whenever I have the chance I do try to play both sides out. Fantatsic 45
  11. Sold mine for 600 UKP maybe a year or two ago. Marc
  12. I will always associate this tune with David Flynn who I believe bought his copy (too) from Richie Conn just because that is where I heard it first. Fantastic tune and I couldn`t believe my luck when I finally got hold of one. I am still looking for the Flint Emeralds though if someone has that please ?
  13. https://www.raresoulman.co.uk/rarest-of-the-rare/28 # 4 from the start
  14. Got them both, they are definitely not sharing the same backing, but still a great track... https://www.raresoulman.co.uk/rarest-of-the-rare/28 # 8 from the start
  15. If thats "jukebyrd" on Paytons you will struggle hard to find one under 250 UKP if any at all these days...his other one on the label is around 150 UKP.
  16. WOW, wow, WoW, wOw...gave my Gary Sole away for free as a present to a mate in 1999...did not take a W Cummings at 800 when offered to me last year
  17. Hi, I have the video clip out of "the beat" on my mypace site. It`s taken off youtube
  18. don`t know if I can wait that long...but yeah, count me in
  19. Hi, while looking for some stuff at home today I just found a spare of what nowadays (after the huge quantity find of her Tuna 45) seems to be her rarest Soul 45. A great piece of early Detroit Soul in VG+ (us grading) condition. Hence condition only 100 UKP (in the "book" at 150 UKP) incl. pp. his is really a rare record as everything on Jackpot is extremely rare. First come first served. Please pm me, TIA Marc
  20. Great picture...I may keep it now Seriously, thanks for posting this ! Marc
  21. Well, Craig Moerer had them as Buy It Now once...he may still have one tucked away...oh how I can hear you typing your immediate email now Good luck!
  22. "Funny" thing is that it was me who got once outbid by Butch on ebay when he bought his copy. It was after I had purchased the other (great!) Parliaments on Capell. Not knowing this particular one I thought I better give it a go and was outbid by a few bucks with final price of about 160 USD sth. Obviously I never knew what I missed out on. I must have heared Butch play his Masqueraders C/UP every year at least twice or three times since then....then suddenly I had Lew`s tape in my hands and more importantly in my tape player...well, you can guess my surprise The attempt to get hold of this copy was useless and it resides now with Mick H, didn`t know Kitch and Sam were playing it also ? Great record and bearing in mind that all the other stuff on Capell is not easy to come by I very much doubt quantity coming up in the near future...
  23. well another case of me selling to early then..sold this as a mint 7" early this summer at 200 plus USD just becuse the tune seemed to "long" (=intro maybe) for me to deejay out with it. Marc
  24. Still available which really surprises me...a great version and very close to Barbara Lynn...
