  1. Good job I kept my Swiniging Tigers "Snake Walk" when I obtained said tune on one of tehse acetates...something tiold me already its not the real deal...you live and learn. Agree though that the seller is among the best in Michigan. Marc
  2. Don`t think he would mind, estimating from just how much he wants it But of course, its up to you. Just an idea. Marc
  3. Ah, must be more 6ts collectors over there ? Seriously though I can clearly imagine this being a fave one with the Japanese collectors...they always had taste! Marc
  4. Dave Thorley is looking for one (at least he was when he was over here in Berlin two weeks ago) so it might be a good idea to send him a pm in case your sales pitch gets overlooked by him ? Marc
  5. Wow, what a terriffic double-sider, always been after one since George Sharpe had it on a tape twenty years ago. Finally bought one last year after having missed the first copy I ever saw for sale in 2006! Marc
  6. Oh, and by the way: Just found a cheap copy of an Album by him and the Disco Symphony Orchestra..no good .
  7. Fantastic tune, one of my personal fave Motown (or Tamla in this case) tunes ever. If you like this try the flipside to the Magnificent 7 on Dial for a change
  8. Always use(d) to "mix" it with Frankie Crocker in my sets. Got it a while back quite cheap at 20 USD. Fab tune (Pt1 that is which is the one I prefer). Marc
  9. Oh my, just saw this thread now. 20 minutes earlier I was just reading the Keith discography, one of Eddie Singelton other labels. RIP. Marc
  10. Hi Matt, if you would only be still on raresoulforum you would maybe remember that I had this and described it as a nice R&B 45, not a "bomb" but a nice decent 45. Sold it along my other 45s on Merging for 150 UKP iif I remember correctly
  11. You are spot on (again) Chalky, it was Pat Brady who found/had a box of only 50 copies. That plus the maybe three /four copies that cropped up via ebay over the years and the one Lew Stanley once had (who again told me BEFORE he had that one copy he never ever had one, not even seen one...), thats about it quantitywise. I had two and sold them both at 600 UKP. Wouldn`t mind one back but will wait until the price drops (wishful thinking, eh ?) Marc
  12. Oh, and one thing to add especially for the future...I am not a big fan of discussing all these kinda things online. I don`t understand (especially if its been only a week like in this case) why people have to rush to hang out the dirty washing in public. Most of the time it results in nth good, both parties will only end up with hardened opinions and maybe even harsh feelings against each other... Marc
  13. From a sellers point if view: If the soundfile came from the actual 45 (and so far I have no reason to doubt this) I can`t see where there is an attemt to rip you off Paloma. If someone buys a VG or so 45 on the net without holding and looking at the actual copy it its down to the buyers very own risk. I have done it myself (junkie that I am) and sometimes I have been lucky, sometimes not... on the other hand (and only speaking for myslef now), why not show your gratitude as a seller and cancell and refund the transaction. I do it everytime a buyer is not satisfied. I am currently in the process of getting a record worth a grand back because the buyer is not satisfied with its condition. I stated "ex but plays better" but its the buyers money so if he/she says its not ex who am I to start an argument ? Life`s too short and relationships are too important...just my thoughts and point of view of course Marc
  14. Well, I know where I will be found at in 2 hrs time
  15. Anything between 800 and 1000 UKP depending on who is selling and condition obviously. Marc
  16. Yes (IMO) and yes
  17. A white guy by the way, but very black sounding.. Marc
  18. Well , not really eh ? Anyone remember which take of said tune it was ?
  19. Think we had that already or am I just having a deyavu`? Well, whatever the case, miy copy is the same.
  20. Are u sure you did not mix up these two price-wise...only joking, great price for a Little Hank, fabulous tune
  21. My how time flys, good to see you still enjoy the record
  22. Hi Denbo, as real as the other bootlegs this seller is selling since several months now. Usually though the labels the manufacturer of these boots uses are taken from original records (his Old Town repros are like that but do usually feature two different artists on each side). My original was an issue and sadly I don`t have it anymore but as the buyer was someone from this site he may be able to posta scan ? But do you intend to say the buyer thinks he bought an original ? It clearly states in his auction Repro and his Mike Pedicin "only" made 123 sth USD (for that reason ?). Marc
  23. Eddie Floyd on Lupine ?
  24. Still remember when you bought the Jellybeans of me matey, first time you visited my shabby flat . Tell you what, make me a good price offlist for the Sparkles and I`ll take it Marc
  25. Joe Tex at 401 USD is a steal, especially if someone is willing to pay as much as 423 USD for an illegal bootleg of Tiny Topsy https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...A:IT&ih=014 can somebody tell me in what state of mind somebody must be who pays 423 for a bootleg ? Even if he tries to get a way with this as an original (there are some out there who try at least so I have heard..) it does look so different from the original (which I btw had problems to sell on here for 250 UKP if I remember correctly). WoW.
