  1. He did not buy it via me. I posted the sales, the rest of the deal was done between the seller and the buyer.
  2. Ah well, so here we go again... To save all fellow soul source members the time and effort heres Simons first thread and attempt... /Eddie-P...by-t100911.html So all I have to say (now in public as I have done so several times before via private email communiction) is: 1. Those were not my records, I posted the whole sale for a friend who ain`t a member on here 2. I checked all records before and the Eddie Parker 45 was a mint ORIGINAL (see link above) with the big ARCHER stamp in the run out groove. 3. Simon complained about said record being the bootleg only two days after the record was posted here in Berlin Germany (on the afternoon by the way..). There is no way at all he could actually already have had received the record when he complained about it being a bootleg. When Ralf (the seller) immediately asked him to resend the 45 for a refund Simon kept on asking for an adress to "return" the 45 to...which "smelled" to Ralf in a way because if Simon already would have had received the parcel and the 45 he would have not to ask for an adress but only would have to read what senders adress was given on the envelope, would he not ? "Funnily" enough a week later all of a sudden Simon said he had Ralfs adress now and asked for a confirmation of this adress via email. Well, I guess he must have had received and read the parcel by now! So as I am not blind and know what kind of record I was holding and grading when I had said copy in my hands and as I am also not yet stupid enough to believe Simons story work I sadly have to think of a real smelly fraud here. Buying an original and trying to return a boot. Thanks god Simon opened the case already two days after payment had been send and the 45 had gone off as that only just goes to proove he actually never had the bought 45 when he started to claim its a boot! The seller informed me that Simon also already had started a paypal claim which was turned down by paypal for obvious reasons. I guess that this is the reason for this open public attempt against me now on here ? I have been trading and selling records ever since I started collecting which is now already 25 years ago and I never ever sold a boot (knowingly) off as an original myself. Furthermore any missunderstanding or problem was solved more or less easy. Furthermore these reocrds being put up for sale did not belong to me. So having stated that the record was an original anyway I refuse to be responsible for any missunderstandings or controversials between the seller and the buyer. I asked Simon several times to keep me out of it at all (as i got CC in every singel email the two were sending out) and to try to solve this directly with the seller. I doubt that any of the kind people who for example put up the sales of ravingmadrecords or Joe Dunlop (just to name two who are not members onhere and therefore their sales get listed by other third parties) would take responsibility for each and every sale which finalises thru any of these sales threads. Thank you for your time, Marc
  3. We only invite people who are able to add sth musically to a night at the Hip City. So if we feel the need to invite a certain DJ he definitely is worth getting paid and cared for. Simple as that really. Marc
  4. Hip City always on the first sat of every other month...except when on the second or third
  5. Out of interest, did this go and what price ? Offlist if you like
  6. Yep, told you so before Marc
  7. Absolutely right Steve, hope you are fine by the way mate! Marc
  8. Its been so already since last year...nearly every DJ in Germany has a copy Gasher, try puresoul.de maybe Thorsten still has a copy somewhere
  9. Ray Pollard "The Drifter" I will always associate this tune with my good old mate Stefan who passed away already 10 years ago now and defo much much too soon. He wanted me to play his favourite three 45s at his funeral. So I had them on a tape and was sitting with that tape and a recorder behind the organ while the pastor was doing the ceremony and played his three tunes in the chapel just the way he wanted it. The last last song was the "Drifter"and it kept on playing while the cuffin was brought out to get buried. RIP Stefan my old mate.
  10. Marc with C buddy, good afternoon to you as well...LOL have a great time tonight and please say hello from me to all who it may concern LOL
  11. In fact those two sellers walked into the shop inbetween one week. So he told me. No real difference does it make though.. Marc
  12. remember butch playing it and as he is usually not selling (if he hasn´t got a spare which in this case is more then unlikely) I would think he still has it. Seem to remember arthur Fenn having one too ?
  13. Hi David, I have posted in your other thread. Brilliant record. A rare one indeed. A true Soul 45, no doubt. Should be a high three figure price if this world would be turning in the right direction. Nth for an Oldies DJ. Better keep it after all LOL! Marc
  14. I remember playing this last year at the HH weekender in the modern room much to the surprise of Dave Thorley who also has a copy but told me that in his opinion it must be a very rare 45. I would pretty much think so as I never saw another one and even Tim Brown was surprised to hear me play it at the Hip City some weeks ago as he also did not know it before. Awesome tune, about double the soul content than his Shrine rel IMVHO. Marc
  15. Out of interest Matt, is there any difference between them ? Marc
  16. Very well spotted Franc, attached is a scan of the reissue
  17. Yeah, good question. What label is the Tempest 45 on for a start ?
  18. Just to clarify: The Magnificent 45 does feature a different group of the name Arabians. It is not Edward H.
  19. yes, both true but obviously both also do feat. Edward H on lead. Same goes for "Who`s In The Shack" which also only credits the Arabians. I fear its a typo with "Please Take A Chance" having been rel. on Lanrod as well. I will ask Bob though...
  20. ....talking about simultanously posting
  21. Plus Arabians "Let Me Try / Today I Kissed My New Love" Staff 1808 and the very uptempo early "Who`s In The Shack" on another blue label which name although I have it at home escapes me at present...anyone ? The group on Magnificent by the way is a different group. Marc
  22. Hi Jaco, are you sure about this one ? Never seen one, only ever on Le Mans. Marc
