Hi there folks , have great memories of the bankhall miners too have to agree with most previous comments ..went to every boxing day one plus the easter mondays ..also very fond memories of mr pat allen lived on dall st off parliment street..great bloke and quite witty when really pushed always remember our kev buying me a ticket to see the awesome mr jr walker ..i had only been out of hossy a couple of days and couldnt really walk but made the effort only to get there and be told he wouldn`t entertain us cause the money was`nt enough also remember concorde as our dave ran it for a few years circ was great and the kestral suite was pretty awesome went to the allnighter back in may was a bit rare for me but had a great night and catch up with ppl some one asked about mick moore ? well what can i say still a soulie at heart but not on the scene personal responsibilities and all that .....see gaz taylor at prestatyn every year ...thanx for listening to my drabble all is left to say is must have been some of the best soul nights the scene has seen in good old BURNLEY ...........GREAT PPL GREAT MUSIC AND LOTS AND LOTS OF SOUL.....and phil keep the kestral suite going mate ...good reviews on all forums that i frequent .well thats my twopennieth imput hope i have`nt bored you too much regards julie moore

Hi folks , ive been attending prestatyn since 2001 and agree with a lot that has been said ,the first year the oldies was upstairs and was just like going back in time to mr m`s at the casino then the second time it was turned into well i dont really know ....modern ? then it dissappeared all together.id love to see the queen vic music brought inside as i always feel i cannot dance in the pub the atmosphere isnt right but omvho lets hope someone can sort things out in the future ..but if not no worries as i love the place ..the ppl... the music... everything even the bloody crap chalets and the weather

i onced asked a certain arragant dj at the 100club to play a record........ fair play i didnt know who he was. .. and still dont give a shit who he is but to be told i dont play shit like that was beyond a joke

i went to see the play in greenwich......... it left me totally flat .it never mentioned anything about what people actually did in order to scrape enough money for entry ,train or bus fare`s, to get to the casino.. to listen to the splendid toons they fired out ..........i personally did a few things myself im not proud to admit on this forum but this is just mvho

absolutley great venue.. used to love it there ...frikin great dance floor and it was massive

hi folks (julie )here ......i too saw my first live act at the pier (GENE CHANDLER) I had to stand on a chair to get a view , couldnt believe it when he entered after a 5 min intro to I CAN TAKE CARE OF MYSELF and he had the topper & cape on frikin awesome shaun gibbons and his family should be applauded for one of the best venues after the casino closed ...........great memories

1st every big money northern record i bought and i aint got many and dont have it today was Lynne randell Stranger in my arms ( picture cover) in the early 80s cost me £25 which i thought was a lot of money and havnt payed that much for a record since as i am by no means a collecter
