  7. I remember one of the first times I went searling playing al de lory discotheque alibi ( Harley hatcher soul hustler) it just mesmerised me totally it sounded awesome, thing is 90% of tunes played sounded awesome coming out of those speakers. Maybe no so hot 30 odd years later though

Was reading the book casino by dave shaw a couple of days ago and it jogged up a few only memories of around 77 when I was 16 and first walked up those sweaty sticky smelly stairs for the first time at Wigan and standing in awe the first seconds I walked in the main room. And it reminded me of a few tunes from that first night joey heatherton, Paula Durante,Lou Ragland, Andre brassuer !! But one song stuck to mind the following morning on that train journey home all I could remember was the chorus , stop your breaking my heart stop . Took me a few weeks to find out it was bobby diamond it's not a truefull soul record but as a lad I was gobsmaked by it, which brings me to the question at your first allnighter did you have one song played that night which truly stuck to mind on your introduction to ns

  12. I like probably most on here had nowt until the kids were grown up, but ow the pension pot came in I'm in the position where I can if I want. 10k for a watch or 10k for a record lol, I think if it was the right tune I know what I'd do !!
  13. I actually tried both of these on but the price scared me a tad 7k for the gold tag and 6k for the breitling chronograph which is preowned but only 10 k new
  14. A really good place to buy luxury watches is amj jewellers in Nottingham the do a lot of good deals and intrest free, I found them on Facebook
  15. Out of around 14 watches not expensive I decided to take the plunge and buy a nice bugger, but now I've got the bug and shopping around for another
