    Think I remember the John drevars connection, he had proper curly hair cut quite neat and his mate was smaller with a biggish nose and always flogging a copy of benzine vot. Always felt dubious of em whenever they looked at my box, proper pair of sharks lol

    I had an Isley bros green & white Motown demo for years, then seen a why when the love is gone demo on e bay, went to bid on it and looked at the a side and realised I already had it,so I had a wwtlig gone demo already in my box

    I remember a guy from Wigan 78ish who I bought a chapter 5 issue from with no centre, the record was massive at the time, can't even remember how much it cost me, all I remember is the guys name was hovis and he hung around with a smaller guy ,I think they were from Leeds maybe Sheffield way. They were always in the record bar at wc doin some hustling and trading bigger sounds, basically try to have people over, any clues to who they were!, it's cool don't worry I'm not after any money back or redemption after all these years lol. Just curious about who they were

    I can confirm also that they shrivel up and look like ashtrays,my mate had a record late 70s ,can't even recall what it was, he knew I wanted it but had no cash,so he proceeded to to put a lighter to it in the middle of the pub,some mate eh

    Does anyone know if pep had any brothers, 20 years back I worked with a dusky skinned guy at LDv vans.worked with him for years when for some strange reason we started talking music and he told me his brother was a northern soul dj called pep, was peps surname ullah as that was this guy I used to work with surname. Are there any other big characters from the past who anyone has some good stories about
