    Must have missed the thread, just read it now though, the magic city copy is a strange one. I've had my copy of watch yourself for a few years so was a bit shocked to see a copy on giant on USA eBay for sale, so I dont know everything after all lol

    For a start off after 30 odd years of being a soul lover I didnt know watch yourself came out on giant ????. Then minutes later after looking on Popsike I came across a scan, a copy of space land/i,ll be your winner on magic city, obviously it's a boot because I know they were never released,but didn't know this record existed, any info on this?. Try to upload the scan on this feckin iPad thing but it won't let me do it, can anyone upload it

    I totally agree with that, I don't find trawling e bay and other websites hardwork I could do it for hours ,as most of us would agree its worth it to find the odd gem

    Just browsing e bay and a few sites eg manship ,pat Brady ,When I noticed on bradys a copy of Diane Lewis without your love currently at £425.00 with 3 days to go, then looked on e bay and there's a minter for sale at£325.00 on buy it now, which got me thinking don't people shop around , or is it a case of to much money and can't be arsed to scour other avenues

    I went there around there alot78/79 he had piles of import stuff and loads of ric tic stuff, what was the shop on the Stratford road next to the scooter place, also found a fair few bits down the bottom of alum rock road, in a junk shop they had loads of records in there

    do you remember the guy who used to run it,seemed a bit of a dope head with a good mop of black hair, bet there were some great tunes in there which wouldn't have been discovered back then. Also remember being in the back room of the diskery , they had a box labeled Detroit ,went through that but wonder what I left behind being I was so young and niave.

    I got 3 mint Kiki dees magic carpet ride from the diskery and got banned from redding tons after a mate grassed me up about finding tunes for peanuts and making big money on em, do remember the import shop in the basement of oasis shop,god I wish I could go through them now bet there was some proper good stuff in there what was unheard of at the time
