  8. i think it was the guy behind Groove Records in Brighton.
  9. Whenever I look up a seller to see if he's trustworthy I only look at his overall rating percentage and the detailed rating. I don't even bother what people say in their feedbacks. Actually I think that part is redundant.

  12. updated again. free post if you buy three or more.
  13. Is anyone singing with a lisp on them?
  14. You forgot to throw in a bit of folk as well I really like Terry Callier, fantastic song writer, composer and singer. Got 5/6 albums by him and not one dull track on them.
  15. What's a spammer account in this context? True bot-like automatic spammer? Or some individual who joined just for posting spammy crap?
  16. Are your prices half already? Or is it 50% off the price stated? BTW, Wilbert Harrison on Sea-Horn is a typo isn't it? It's a $5 record.
  17. Isn't there a thread somewhere about World Column? I think they were a mixed group, bit like Sly & Family Stone and later evolved into another well known group. Pretty vague I know.
  18. John S is spot on. If it's a Monarch press (delta symbol denotes it) your record was pressed in oct 1964
  19. Chuck Jackson and Maxine Brown. Chuck opens the show with at least 10 songs, then Maxine joins him for a 1-2 duets and ends the show with a few (~15-20) of her own songs. Non-soul: The Sonics at their prime (mid 60s)
  20. Wasn't the US press s/s demo only anyway?
  21. that's correct but if you want to buy you depend on the number of copies in circulation. Some anniversary 45s are easier to find because musicallythey're weaker than others, whereas others are damn hard to find because nobody wants to sell them.
  22. and it doesn't even have the original sleeve
  23. Thanks Pete, will give it a try tonight. I was a subscriber of your Podbean casts but don't recall downloading your oldies count down ones....
