  1. The rare german Spark release from the 60s is also on silver label. As it happens, I have a spare copy of it for sale if anybody's interested .... 5 pounds plus postage ... sorry, no pic sleeve but can send scan of one.
  2. , There's a group called Majors which had some (euro-only?) 70s releases on Major Minor. Do they tie in with any of the US Majors groups?
  3. Chris, looks like you most releases. But there's at least one missing, it came out twice in Germany. First one is the one shown in your post (1x WD, 1x PS). Second one came out in the early/mid 70s, probably to tie in with a UK re-release (Mojo?). Funky art cover, had it once but sold it as it was a reissue. Never found another copy. Must have bombed.
  4. I agree. I guess Tony Hestor is the one that prevents many collectors from having a full set of Detroit Giant releases. Wish I had the money.
  5. Obvious why winner thought this was unreleased. Who on hearth would have released such an awful track?
  6. LINDA JONES - YOU CAN'T TAKE IT - FRENCH W.B. - £150 SOLD Scarce french Linda Jones EP with two monster tracks. French only northern killer "You can't take it" and top sister funk "I can't stop lovin' my baby". Record EX, plays loud and clear. Sleeve VG++/EX. Will add scans/soundclips tonight. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ worldwide P&P from Germany: £3.10 standard / £5.00 signed for / £8.00 fully insured (EU only) Payment Paypal only. 7. MDB and Nightchill reduced. Remember, prices incl. worldwide 'signed for' post!
  8. There's no Chimneyville release of that. Grapevine 2000 is the first vinyl release
  9. Sorry, should have said "german scooter scene". But I know what you mean. "inspired dj" means f*ck all. "inspiring" is the key. Play a set of quality rarities/biggies/monsters/in demanders/what ever and drop a few truly forgotten quality cheapies. That's inspiring. Inspiring to the punters.
  10. Funny that you say it's not overplayed. Mary Saxton was played literally to death on the scooter scene in the 90s. Off pressings though.
  11. Dobber's right. Hard to tell what's original and what's boot. I think there's a thread in LOOK AT YOUR BOX that explains the differences.
  12. Justin Jones - Dance by yourself/Love (your magic ...) - UK London DEMO (EX) - £300 £250 Rarest format for this great early 60s doublesider. Would accept £150 plus copy of the US Flippin release. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ worldwide P&P from Germany: £3.10 standard / £5.00 signed for / £8.00 fully insured (EU only) Payment Paypal only. As gift if possible but not necessary.
  13. FFS, stop being so patronizing. Ever since we did the Top Tips for 20xx threads somebody said xx and xx are well known records, no top tips. There's no need for that. How about just reading what everybody else posts, if you know it already ignore it. If you don't have a listen and make a mental note if you like it.
  14. Come on Chalky, I'm sure you said something like that at one time too. If there is one things that gets us all very passionate it's if somebody questions our taste. I mean there are two types of records, the ones I like and the ones that are sh*t.
  15. Just google'd it, Corey isn't Danny's son.
  16. Both sides pretty low fi from what I remember?
  17. Scans/Audio now added. Also open to reasonable offers if my prices are way off the mark. Please note my scanner picks up almost everything. Perfections labels look much better in real life that as a scan.

  21. Glad you like them. As it happens, going by the play/download figures the final podcast seems to be the most popular one....
  22. It was played at many continental 6Ts/Mod dances I attended 10/12 years ago. Always had a good dancefloor reaction. Actually, when I first heard it played out (probably in Italy) I went up to the DJ and asked for details. Name/title were somehow familiar. When I went back home I remembered I saw it in the 2.50 cheapies section of the latest Voices from the Shadows list just a few days earlier. Of course it was gone when I rang Rod. All copies he had.
  23. That's correct.
