  1. That bit confuses me a bit. 4 more tracks to be used for what? I understand soundtrack is finalized. Are there any possible late changes to the track listings?

  3. Maybe you are? 180 quid for a record that is a $25 buy-it-now on Ebay. Just sayin'...
  4. Cab Calloway's daughter if you didn't know already. And yes, a 15/20 quid max tune.
  5. ok, thanks for correcting me. As said I wasn't sure. My ICA copy was styrene from what I recall. Looked up a few pictures on the internet and they all looked styrene to me.
  6. I'm not 100% sure but I think the ICA release of Edee is styrene. There's a prior local issue, slightly different credits, that might be vinyl?? edit: local release is Edee Leatherwood on Chi Heat. The scans on Popsike indicate this is styrene as well.
  7. Nice one. Althought not even close to the original.
  8. New stuff added.
  9. Many 60's Coral releases state the kind of dance you're supposed to dance to the record underneath the title,e.g. Higher and Higher is a "go go shake". Decca did the same. From what I remember Brenda Lee's "Time and Time again" is a "shake" and Sam & Bill's "I'll try" was the "slope" or something like that.
  10. Sorry, but sounds awful to me.
  11. Scans now added.
  12. Will try to upload the other scans later. Keep getting error messages...
  13. Nice lot of original german 60's and 70's 45s. All VG+ or better! Check out scans for details... £15 each: DAVID PORTER - IF I GIVE IT UP, I WANT IT BACK - STAX (P/S) Great dancer. Recent Ian Levine spin. Sleeve VG AL DOWNING - I'M JUST NOBODY - POLYDOR (P/S) Classic dancer, hard to find on german Polydor. An US copy just sold for £40 here on SS! HENRY LUMPKIN - SOUL IS TAKIN' OVER - BUDDAH (Germany, Testpress P/S) Underrated Detroit dancer in its rarest format. Original german Buddah white label demo. £5 each: ARCHIE BELL & DRELLS - SHOWDOWN/GO FOR WHAT YOU KNOW - ATLANTIC (P/S) Overlooked flip SMOKEY ROBINSON - TEARS OF A CLOWN - TAMLA MOTOWN (P/S) MARY WELLS - MY GUY - CBS Rarely turns up these days. Never came out with a pic sleeve. JIMMY RUFFIN - WHAT BECOMES OF A BROKEN HEARTED - TAMLA MOTOWN (P/S) Great stereo cut, sounds fantastic. MOMENT OF TRUTH - AT LONG LAST - SALSOUL No US 45 release for this nice midtempo dancer from 1977. DIANA ROSS & SUPREMES - LOVE CHILD - TAMLA MOTOWN (P/S) worth the fiver for just the picture cover THE FANTASTIC 5TH DIMENSION - WEDDING BELL BLUES - LIBERTY (P/S) Nice song, nice sleeve ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ worldwide P&P from Germany: £3.20 standard / £5.10 signed for / £7.90 insured (EU only) Payment Paypal only. 14. JIMMY JULES - THE NEW YEAR - JIM GEN (VG++) £80 Lovely midtempo. Bit of noise during the intro. Plays EX after. JESSE GOMEZ - BABY I'M COMING AT YOU/LACE - MANKIND (EX) £70 Quality 1981 doublesider. One side uptempo, flip midtempo. All around great condition ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ worldwide P&P from Germany: £3.20 standard / £5.10 signed for / £7.90 insured (EU only) Payment Paypal only. 15. I was wrong. Same backing, just different mix.
  16. I don't know anything about the writing credits. But what I know is that the backing is similar but not the same. Same sheet of music but different recordings. (I know that sounds pretty pedantic) PS: thanks for posting Big Maybelle's version. I didn't know of it before.
  17. CBS issued 4 records sung in german on Tamla-Motown. "Jonny and Joe" is the most common one. Whoever bought it paid about three times it's real value. well done.
  18. You're right we don't have any sense of humour. Willy Millowitsch was an actor. Not a comedian.
  19. Maybe because eventually folks realised what a great record it is? I'd heard it at many continental europe venues over the years. Each time I thought I'll get a copy one day. Finally bought one last year and it's still among my current favourites. The deep flip is just as good.
  20. Correct title is "Why you wanna treat me the way you do". The misspelt title is rarer but not that much rarer than the correct one (IMO)
  21. Is this a single track 45 or an EP? Only heard of an EP release before. PS: Issue.
  22. Del Royals - Some kind of wonderful/same - Mercury WD Just bought this blind. But it's not really my cup of tea so I'm going to sell it again. Has anyone any idea of a fair price for it? I googled for it but prices seem to be all over the place, from $25 to 50 UKP. Is 10/15 quid ok? Thanks! Benji
  23. I don't have it myself, but I remember seeing a white label demo of the german Stax release many years ago. Maybe this is the one?
